At first, the atmosphere was great. They were playing good music and the restaurant was clean. The food that was served was pretty decent. Not too greasy, fish and shrimp were fresh and the garlic butter was phenomenal (although for $1 each, I don’t think it’s worth getting). However, the person who was serving was on the phone. Also, the seating was only available for 2 people. Another point that stuck to me was the fact that we waited about 30 minutes to about an hour for our food and one of our side was forgotten. Throughout all of this, the person was still on his phone. Overall, my experience in this restaurant was not very pleasing even if their food was good.

Best garlic crabs/seafood spot in the south!!! The savory garlic butter flavored sauce clinched to the snow crab is the absolute best taste ever. Snow crabs cooked to perfection. My favorite fried Dish would be the whitening. Crispy and flaky just how I like it. The fries were hot, fresh and seasoned just right. Of course, I had chef racks signature garlic sauce drizzled on top to my liking. Deliciousness ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Traveled many places none compares to this taste.

There are many garlic crab establishments within the Charleston, SC region. However, there is no comparison to Chef Racks garlic seafood. Garlic sauce is superb! Always my go to spot when in need for quality seafood. Clean, friendly & fast service. Never disappointed.

Give this man your business right now. The crab legs with the garlic sauce are just so good. I’d never had garlic crabs before and this has set the bar very high. I also ordered a fried fish, shrimp, and crab cake box and everything was cooked perfectly. Nice light fry on everything, shrimp were big and juicy. My only regret was not getting extra garlic sauce for dipping everything in!

Had the shrimp and crab legs in garlic butter sauce. Both were excellent. Very messy eating but both were cooked very well (love when the crab meat comes out whole and shrimp not over cooked) and sauce was delicious. Great music playing as well. Owner was very nice. Will eat here again.

Hands down the best garlic butter in Charleston. My wife turned me on to this spot and now I crave it at least once a week. I splurge and get the shrimp and crab platter. Yes it’s 50$ but I’m tellin you!!! The best 50 I’ve spent on food in years!!!!!!

It was the end of our "Girls Day" and we wanted to try Garlic Crab, and found out about this place through a Google search. They were getting ready to close in 35 minutes, so the seats were put up when we arrived, however, the restaurant was clean, small,(cozy) and still smelled of delicious dishes 😋...The person who took our order looked disinterested and seemed like she was ready to be done, hence why i didn't leave a tip, but despite that, we made our order, and tho it was pricey, (crab legs usually are) The Garlic crab legs and shrimp are flavorful and the meal quite filling! I would definitely return to purchase more! I ate it before I thought about pics, lol! 😅The other menu items looked tasty, too! 😋 think I'll try something else next time, I'm a seafood-aholic 😊😆
