The food at Chef Moussa is different than other similar restaurants in town, and in a good way. My go to is the chicken shawarma sandwich, which has a fantastic seasoning blend. The bread is far better than other places where you get a standard, mass produced pita bread, which isn't fitting for a shawarma sandwich. It's also a massive serving size. This is mostly a carry out joint but with a comfortable, crisp, and clean fast food dine-in atmosphere if you wish to eat it there. The staff are always very friendly and the prices are on point.

The Best Chicken Shawarma sandwich I ever had. Been going here from past 5 years and the taste is amazing every-time . Every item is fresh and tasty. I really like the sauce they put in chicken shawarma. The chicken is always juicy and cooked to perfection. The fries are crispy and nice Must must try

Authentic. Fresh. Hot. Delicious. Our first time visiting and it won't be our last. If you have a mixed family (some vegan and some meat-eating) this is the place to go. They had a lot of vegan selections (clearly marked with a "V" on the menu). The portions were generous and the food tasted amazing. Best hummus I've ever had and the baba ganoush was perfect. We each got a sandwich, plus the vegetarian sampler. We wanted to try a little of everything. We took plenty home lunch the next day. The staff was super friendly and very helpful in us making our selections. The interior is a little small if you have a large party, but you could always get your food "to go". It feels like a small-town diner where they are going to remember you the next time you visit. We will definitely be back again.

The food was incredible! The pita bread was steaming, the falafel was crispy, the tabouleh was fresh, the hummus was creamy. I absolutely loved everything! The service was phenomenal. All three individuals we interacted with were genuinely friendly and welcoming. We will definitely come back even though it’s 45 minutes from where we live.

Delicious fresh and authentic food, great quality and hospitality. Definitely five stars for everything.

We went there with friends and while It's a small place yet you will love it. The host is quite friendly and allows you to take your time in choosing the food items and quite willing to offer you extra breads if needed. We ordered a lot of platters quite difficult to remember however their falafel platter is must try. Moreover, their burger and fries They are few of the places in peoria where you can actually get a good vegetarian burger :)

This was the best plate of food I’ve had in a while! So flavorful! I can’t wait to go back and try the falafel!

Just WOW!! We travel around the county and this is the best Mediterranean food we have ever found! The prices are so reasonable, the portions huge, and the people were so kind! This is the kind of restaurants that show you how amazing international food is!
