Cheers Lapeer Bar - Bar & grill in Lapeer - 440 N Saginaw St, USA

I’m only writing this because I’m very confused. We have been going to cheers for a while. We don’t go a lot but we do love their food and people are nice but after last night we will not be back. We came with friends to show them this place and we were drinking and having fun. I was drinking water so everyone else could drink and we ordered the 3 shot and everyone else only had a couple of drinks and then all of a sudden they gave us the shot and thanked us for ordering more then one because the shot takes a couple of liquors and then they never came back. Before that someone gave us water which I was already drinking I asked for more then dropping our check off and then my husband ask for another drink they didn’t say anything tell we asked again and they said they couldn’t give us anymore we asked why and the one girl would not answer. We paid our bill and left. We will not be back or tell anyone to go there again. I have been surprised on how mean they become for no reason and would not tell us why. I looked at the reviews now and see that this has happened a couple of times to other people. We are very nice people and can’t believe this has happened. I’m hoping they read this and find out what had happened and hopefully can fix what happened or at least tell us what and why.

Overall, cheers has amazing food and a great atmosphere. Good entertainment and my husband and I also love the option to select our own music on the jukebox. However my only complaint, is some of the service we have received. It is upsetting that sometimes we come in and see who is working and we’re excited to have a good night, and be entertained. Other times we walk into the building, see the staff on the phone or sitting down and know that it will be rough. 9/10 times, if we see the wrong person/people working, we make the choice to go elsewhere. It’s very upsetting that it has to be this way as we love cheers but we come out for the environment and the attentive service. We have our favorite server(s),service review would be 1 star, if it wasn’t for Susan, Jamey and another brown haired shorter women(we’re sorry we don’t remember her name.) Although we should never feel the need to leave when certain staff is working. Please remedy this issue.

today Thursday is kareoke night. my roommate and i stopped in for dinner and to spend some time singing songs....the atmosphere was very welcoming.... everyone clapped no matter how bad we were and a good time was had by all. would definitely recommend Thursday night kareoke as a fun time to get out of the house and sing some fun tunes. I also want to give a special shout out to the wait staff who go above and beyond every time we go there. Tonight the cook Theo had NEVER made a Calzone but was willing to try it for me. (see attached pictures theres also one of me singing kareoke) Theo is pictured with his creation. I also want to shout out to Jamie the bartender/ waitress who took care of us tonight. Our drinks were NEVER dry and she always was checking to make sure we didn't need anything. Long story short OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER SERVICE!

Took 40 minutes to get the food, but it sure was good the waitress we had didn’t come and ask us how our food was and she only asked for refills one time when we all didn’t have any water left but food was amazing. I love the burrito best burrito ever.

Cheers has the best fries on Earth, but go there for the wings all. the. time! Friendly staff. Everything on the menu is great. Great bourbon and tequila selection and super reasonable prices.

Pretty cool bar…low key, went for lunch.The waitress/bar tender was really nice and made sure we were taken care of!! Very impressed

Atmosphere and staff is good. The food is good as far as bar food goes.
