Cheaha Resort State Park - Resort hotel in Delta - 19644 AL-281, USA

Its a beautiful place with great mountain views and amazing sunsets! Very relaxing and romantic. We walked a lot, there is a restaurant but it's not open, only for special events. Closes town its a drive of 20-40 minutes thru very steep mountsins. There is a microwave and mini fridge, so be prepare to grill or bring foods accordingly. We stay four nights, and it was a lot of hiking to reach the end or peak of each trail. Great camping spots so will come again and camp.

Second time I've tried to stay here. First time was in a cabin where they lost all power. Nothing they could do, I understand. Second time got a room and ask for a East facing view to see the sunrise over the mountains and I am looking at a parking lot. I guess it's my fault for trying it again but I really thought they were sincere when they were telling me on the phone that I would have a great view of the sunrise. Thanks again Cheaha State Park for making my birthday special. I was asked to take a photo but couldn't. It's a parking lot.

Beautiful and serene mountain setting. The hotel itself is older, and in need of renovation, but the a/c is cold and the rooms are clean! The view from the pool is stunning. It is about 30 mins to the nearest restaurant, so either bring your own food or prepare accordingly! Would recommend!

This was a pleasant two day stay so we could see the observation tower and walk some of the trails. We stayed in the lodge and although the room needs a little love, the room was clean and quiet, the bed was comfortable, and the shower was hot. Free coffee in the well stocked gift shop. I wish the restaurant had been open, but I understand the logistics of trying to get employees. Beautiful place to watch the sunset.

The sights, camp grounds, and trails are beautiful, worthwhile, and well maintained. I highly recommend everyone to go. Make sure you visit the Bald Rock cliff. This park is also free to active duty Soldiers. I really appreciated that. 🙏🏾

Had a lovely getaway to nature, with enough amenities to make it comfortable. Clean room at the lodge, friendly and helpful staff, Quiet, peaceful, and scenic experience.

We had a deluxe cabin. Beautiful scenery and the leaf colors were amazing.

We just visited Cheaha State Park for a two night stay in Cabin #1. We had a great time. We had not been to Cheaha in twenty plus. I must say that there have been some great improvements since our last visit! The boardwalk was a nice addition. We loved the cabin and the view was absolutely beautiful! The leaves were at peak! The cabin was very clean and nicely furnished! The only thing that I saw that might need improvement was the grass growing in the patio table area that could be trimmed with a weed eater. We loved the whole experience so much that we have already reserved a cabin for next fall! The staff were also very helpful, since I could not make up my mind exactly what week we would return, and made a couple changes. Thank you for a great experience!
