We recently stayed for two nights and really enjoyed it! The location is perfect for us, the rooms were spotless, and a full size coffeemaker was a very nice touch! Melissa was friendly and took great care of us. We'll definitely be staying here again on future visits to the area!
had a nice comfortable stay at this hotel. Upon arrival I was greeted by Melissa. She is very helpful and knowledgeable of the area. My room was very spacious and had a clean and comfortable bed. I loved the chairs outside the room to sit and grab a breath of fresh air. I very much enjoyed my stay here and am already looking forward to next time! Thank you Melissa!
The lady who owns the place is.....well I'd say a female dog might be better company if you catch my drift. I was asked to leave because I didn't go outside enough and my 2022 Chevrolet Silverado 2500. Was entirely too nice for an individual like myself. She'd probably be right, if I DIDN'T WORK ONLINE!!! In short I bought a piece of property in the area just in case I find myself needing a place to stay.
Inexpensive and clean motel that was just the ticket for our overnight before a hike on the Appalachian Trail. Melissa was kind and professional. Highly recommend!
As other folks have said, the inn can use some updating. BUT this takes nothing away from how economical, convenient, quaint, friendly, and above all, CLEAN this place is. We loved the full blown coffee pot! The room had everything we needed and was immaculate. Two weeks ago we stayed overnight in a ‘well-known name’ motel that didn’t hold a candle to Melissa’s place. My kids even commented on how much space there was, compared to 2 weeks ago. We’d be happy to stay here again. Thanks, Melissa, for your warm and fuzzy touches!
Melissa was super friendly and has the best prices in town. She answered the doorbell as soon as it was rang and she was fast and efficient to get us checked in! I Highly Recommend to stay here when you are in the area! Beautiful view from our room. I called to inquire about the rooms available and she held the room for us, as well as called us back to confirm our stay/reservation ! If I could give more than five stars I would! We needed to leave 2 days early was told that was alright by the Manger when we went to office to checkout we were told no refunds bc we booked through hotels. com we payed cash like they wanted. I made a complaint to hotels. com
This sweet little roadside motel is a hidden gem here among the Appalachian mountains! The decor is dated, but the room is overall charming and clean. There is a full sized coffee pot and coffee/amenities. My black lab, Beau and i enjoyed our stay and would come again. Good value for the money. Melissa in the front office was very helpful.
Very friendly people operating the place ( we met Brian) and a beautiful setting. Great place to stay in an RV for a night, and we bought some meat that was delicious!

We really enjoyed these trails! The trails are easy to walk and have plant/tree identification placards. You do share the trails with bicyclers so be prepared to move off the trail, sometimes abruptly for the bikers that don't announce themselves. Th
