I was ok with my stay. I got the junior king suite and it was spacious and comfortable. ||Walking distance to shops, restaurants, and the river. ||Although the air condition did keep the room cold, the unit is loud. I don't mind a "white noise" but when the units toggles on and off all night, makes for a broken sleep. ||Unfortunately, I didn't get to try the breakfast, even thought on the bill the "value added fee" is for the breakfast. I had to leave super early. |||Parking wasn't good. Minimal spots next to hotel. And since people park janky, hard to get space. |Since my room was in the far back, I used the back stairs every time I came and left. These doors stayed unlocked. I didn't mind. Outside was lit up and appeared to have a working security camera. I felt safe. |Because the back door opened to the back part of lot and that's where I parked. 3 flights of stairs suck, but beats walking all the way around to the elevators and lobby. And around the building in the elements. ||The bath tub wasn't clean. There was mold/mildew build up under the drain. ||Even though my stay was average, it was convenient. I may stay here again. However, I would be stupid not to try any of the 47 B&B's in the area.
Vetta and crew helped me get settled and my room experience great. I called for a touch up and they met my needs swiftly with grace. Third stay in several years. Glad they have quality and wholesome people. God bless and keep it going staff. If you have an issue talk to them and they fix it in time. ||Also gym is good but you gotta take a walk by the water and run/lunge the stairs/inclines. Then church at Agape Love Center which help me get back on track with peace not judgement.
Nice location, Great scenery. The rooms however were not clean even after having serviced. Water pressure in shower was terrible. Not all complaints though, staff was extremely friendly and over all we enjoyed our stay.
We truly enjoyed the hotel. The checkin process was good, there were multiple luggage carts and the elevators worked. We normally pack a lot of cold stuff so the refrigerator was small but worked well. We asked and were given permission to use a break room freezer to put our freezer packs into so they would be ready when we checked out. Very nice. The breakfast was wonderful. They used real eggs for the scrambled eggs and they were velvety and delicious. Community Coffee is served and they had both bacon and sausage, plus grits and bisquits. Staff was helpful, the bed was comfortable with both firm and less firm pillows so you could pick. AC was working very well.||The things that didn't work - the hot water wasn't hot. It was lukewarm. Just turn on to full hot and don't expect it to get much above 90 degrees. While we had booked through Priceline, the hotel gave us a second invoice with a different rate (lower) but said we were only charged the Priceline price and the 2nd invoice was for their internal system. That doesn't seem smart to show their margins and I'll be checking the CC statement in the next few weeks to make sure. The room was made up but the towels were not replaced during our stay, Not a big deal but it is an observation. As someone noted in another review, the back door on the 1st floor is not secured. This means anyone from anywhere can just walk in. Didn't like that. Had no problem parking but was there on a Tuesday-Thursday visit so probably not an issue during the week.||It is one block off of Front Street and easy walking distance to the river and shops along the river.||Will stay here again.
Positive: Big room, great AC, just off the main area of downtown and a very nice breakfast. Negative: Hot water was not hot - lukewarm at best. Back door of the hotel was not secure - anyone could walk in. Some confusion on check in as we seemed to pay twice, but will make sure on the upcoming bill.
Sent email to confirm reservation. No response.|Handle to control shower on/off came off in my hand. Couldn’t reseat. Too late at night for any resolution. |Next morning I asked for new room for 2d night-no problem. Breakfast (included) was plain and barely warm.|2d morning experienced a total power outage when I awoke at 8:15. No backup generator. I had to leave my 3rd floor room via dark interior stairwell which had no emergency lighting (I used my iPhone light in one hand, my luggage in the other. This was at 9:15. Desk didn’t notify guests of the issue, or how to escape w/luggage. I skipped looking in at breakfast. I have no idea how older, or handicapped guests, were able to leave/check out. |Beds are almost too high for me to get onto (I’m 5’9”), but they are comfortable. Knit sheets.
Overall experience was pleasant. Check in and breakfast being two highpoint of our stay. The desk clerk named merideth was very helpful and went above and beyond to make sure we had things we needed thru out our stay and gave us lots of helpful information about the area, as we were not familiar with it. Breakfast was a delight and the lady serving breakfast named latonya was delightful as well. Only issues with our stay was dust in some areas of the room. The floor needing to be more properly swept and mopped edges of the bed and bed skirt.
We stayed in room 327. The room was not the cleanest. There was no furniture other than two beds and a desk. It would be nice to have a reading chair in the room. The shower was filthy. My wife had to clean the bathroom with supplies she brought from home. On the second day dirty water was filling the toilet and coming out of the shower and the lavatory. Never staying here again.
Loved our stay! It checked all the things that are important to me: central location, gated parking, clean room, friendly staff and beautiful decor. Will definitely stay here again.
This Motel was fantastically nice. I've stayed at a lot of different motels and I rank it 100% GREAT. We went to see the lights and do some shopping.
This motel is quite, great breakfast, comfortable bed and a separate area with a couch, coffee tab
Nice clean hotel, they have a nice continental breakfast the pool wasn't open yet when we stayed there everyone was friendly and helpful. There is a lot of places around for food. It is right off of the freeway and the parking lot is nice, the photos
The stay here was excellent! Rooms were very comfortable and clean and Kelly (the innkeeper) made our stay much more enjoyable. She greeted us every morning with a smile and portrayed a very pleasant atmosphere.
