Lobby is nice for retro. Staff was nice. Everything else is left to be desired. No complimentary anything. I would trust the coffee machine with the standard 1 cup. Some hotels are worth the cheap price cause all you need it for is to sleep and shower, this is not one of them.

Book this hotel on 7/9/24-7/11/24. This was my first time booking this hotel, and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The front desk representative, Melissa, was very friendly and accommodating. She promptly answered all of my questions and was very attentive. The lobby's presentation was impressive, skillfully blending old-fashioned charm with modern design. There were three elevators available, offering convenient options for getting to and from my room. The hallways were odor-free, which was a significant plus for me. Upon entering my room, I was very pleased with its cleanliness. The bathroom, towels, sheets, and linens all smelled fresh! I was very satisfied with my stay and look forward to returning when needed. I give this hotel a 10/10 overall. However, I would suggest offering breakfast as part of the amenities.

The theme of this hotel is cool, the lobby looks decent and the staff was surprisingly friendly, but the rest of the hotel/stay was not good. I didn’t realize how bad the first room that I was assigned was until they moved us to a new room which at least was cleaner. My initial room was not clean, did not have wash rags, the towels seemed to have been rehung after being used, there were stains on the table but that’s not even the worse part. It wasn’t until I began prepping the bed for my daughter that I realized how unclean it was. One of the beds had hard large stains with what appeared to be pubic hairs. It appeared that someone had sex in the sheets and THEY WERE NOT CHANGED! It was nighttime so it wasn’t practical or convenient to leave and find another hotel. After complaining we were moved to a new room that smelled nice upon entering, it was properly stocked and appeared to be clean with the exception of the wear n tear. Total opposite from the first room. The ice machines didn’t work. There was a lot of noise, yelling and arguing. We left the pool due to an altercation. Overall I’d never visit this hotel again and I highly recommend a different hotel. I’ve been unsuccessful in communicating these concerns with management to ensure this never happens again. Seems this place is affiliated with Wyndham, hopefully I can reach someone there to explain my concerns and experience.

I found this place by mistake. It was very nice it was clean the room was good the bathroom was good but probably the best part was the history for all these major Stars used to stay there including Jackie Gleason The rat pack Marilyn Monroe everybody stayed there. They have a piano in the lobby that Frank Sinatra played and they have the pool table that Jackie Gleason played! I felt the energy in the room. I'll go back. It was pretty inexpensive and a very good bargain.

Stayed for a couple nights on vacation. The pool was stunning, spotlessly clean. We were very impressed, they must clean it repeatedly throughout the day as there wasn’t even a single leaf in there. The hotel has a very cool atmosphere, lobby was beautiful! Staff were very helpful and very friendly. Room was clean and comfortable, and we were happily surprised to find we had a balcony with nice chairs to sit out on. The only slight issue we had was children yelling throughout one of the nights, but when we called down to reception they promptly sent up someone to come check it out. Not the hotels fault! All in all a wonderful stay and I highly recommend! Just be aware they do charge a daily resort fee of about $15 on top of your room rate. I was not aware of this until check in, but otherwise everything was perfect!

Terrible Experience at Chateau Mar Golf Resort. I recently stayed at the Chateau Mar Golf Resort, and it was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had at a hotel. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by the overwhelming smell of smoke and weed. It was absolutely disgusting and made my stay very uncomfortable. Instead of addressing the weed smell, the staff provided a smoke odor spray, which did nothing to alleviate the issue. Uncleaned sheets were given and no room service is available to change the sheets. The customer service was abysmal. Despite multiple complaints, the staff was unresponsive and unhelpful. There was no microwave in the room, which was a huge inconvenience. The attached balcony was easily accessible from other rooms, compromising privacy and security. The air conditioning unit was incredibly loud, making it difficult to sleep. There were no complimentary refreshments provided, which is something I expect from a hotel of this supposed caliber. When I asked for a different room, I was told none were available. Additionally, since I booked through a third party, they refused to provide me with a refund if I canceled my stay. To top it all off, they mentioned manager will reach out to me but I have yet to receive any response from the manager regarding my complaints. This level of neglect and poor service is unacceptable. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

The front desk assistant was pleasant manerly and helpful. I was impressed by the decor of the lobby. There was an unexpected additional $14.95 a day resort fee. Based on an unpleasant interchange in the lobby during check in I learned that there were people who lived at the hotel. Not what I expected for a resort hotel advertised as 4 star! My room was comfortable and clean, but smelled of air freshener over smoke.The room was above the pool, and loud rap music and raucous behavior below was a bit unsettling. Next there was no cable service on the TV Only streaming service, the remote and telephone did not work. As I prepaid for 4 nights I decided to stick it out. Another unexpected occurrence was the room was not cleaned on our return. I was informed that rooms are only cleaned after the 3rd night stay. As nice and accommodating as the staff is, I don't think I will be staying here

stay here this past weekend and the staff made the experience a great one! the woman running the desk in the morning, I wish I had written down her name, was so sweet! they let us check in early too, we got lucky! I highly recommend! the rooms were really clean too! such a cute themed hotel
