Chateau Inn & Suites - Motel in Downey - 9565 Firestone Blvd, USA

You get what you pay for.... our room had no remote control and no towels. in it. Was told by the front desk to go to room 8 and ask for the remote & towels. Had to go down there three times. After more than 3 hours we got the towels. The remote work to turn the TV on but we couldn't get any channels off it.... The parking lot had a few sketchy tweaker type people working on their bicycles and cars. At least it didn't have any roaches. ..

Absolutely disgusting, everything is dirty, beds, bathrooms, even the air conditioner! It smells horrible, it has cockroaches behind the fridge, no microwave, the sheets has stains, the doors aren't secure either! It had no locks, we used the table to ensure no one's getting inside, it doesn't even works properly, hard to close but seemed like it would be easy to get inside. People talking till late, even playing music with some sort of small speaker. It even had a homeless man besides the pool. Don't try to save some dollars here, it doesn't worth it.

The Downey location is a trash place. The place is not fit for occupancy,. Especially not at $105 a night. The parking is terrible, the rooms are disgusting, the rooms have roaches, the rooms smell bad. Also, the swimming pool is totally dirty. Not a good choice.

Quiet for the most part rooms are very nice and neat and quite cozy very well presented and staff is very kind. The best part they're across the street from liquor store/ Market and shopping centers which has Target Chick-fil-A McDonald's Jack in the Box even a golf course all in walking distance

Extremely unsafe and sketchy. I stayed here for one night and upon checking in the manager asked me if I was by myself. I made the mistake of telling him my husband wasn’t coming until later. It was 11:30pm when a man attempted to enter my room. I was pushing back on the door with all my weight and the man continued to try break in. He told me he was maintenance and needed to see if I had a microwave. At damn near midnight?? I threatened to call the police and he left running. I called front desk and they did not answer despite advertising a 24/hr service. In the morning I tried to warn the front desk about the encounter and they told me they indeed sent the man but to a different room that was vacant and the man was “confused” and he went to my room instead. I would’ve believed it if he hadn’t been pushing back on the door when I was trying to keep it closed. Will not be returning. I hope the place closes down. Also, The rooms are disgusting and there’s roaches.

The parking lot overall is nice but has alot of abandoned cars and people living in cars. The pool is dirty, does not look clean and not recommend to come inside. The room is disgusting, Broken locks, a fridge that does not work, Bathrooms filled with graffiti, Cockroaches nonstop, This is such a filthy place! Will recommend to buy bug spray and spray it everywhere. The beds are dirty, pillows with stains and dust everywhere! Also bring new bedsheets and pillow sheets. The Air Conditioner is nice, but some of them are broken. Hearing arguing outside at 12 in the morning? People smoking inside which comes inside the vents and makes the rooms smelly! It smells like cigarettes 24/7!!! This place is a 1 star for sure!

Easily the worst “hotel” I have ever stayed at in my life. The room was disgusting with small roaches and a toilet that did not work. Also the staff gave conflicting information on whether the pool was open or not. But, above all, the area is not safe. Loud altercations and outrageously loud music on the second night. Multiple guests including myself complained yet nothing was done. I ended up leaving after 2 days. Do not waste your time or your money here.

This was by far one of the most foul places I’ve ever seen. I don’t even know where to begin. The room door wouldn’t open without pushing excessively hard. Once inside it smelled like zigzags and urine. Absolutely disgusting inside. Super dusty and definitely does not look like the description online. The room looked like it’s been ransacked. The bed wasn’t made. The walls and doors where extremely filthy. The bath tub was dirty. The curtain was falling off. The AC or heater didn’t work. The furniture was in pieces with the TV and cables just tossed in a corner. The fire detector was on the counter and wires where exposed from the ceiling. The parking was un easy as it’s only one way in and one way out. Only one car can go in or out at a time and very dark. Overall just horrible experience. Went back to the front desk and told the young lady the room is not to standards. Her response was pointing to a sign saying “No Refunds” my advise to any fellow traveler. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY OR TIME.
