Ann, the manager is outstanding. My family rented The Manatee room for one night, a basic hotel room, 2 dbl beds, ,a bathroom and a TV. It was nice. When we arrived Ann explained that something wasn't working with the alarm code so they had to change our room, across the street at the Seven sisters campground, and instead of having 1 room with our kids, 18 and 12, we each had our own cabin, next door to each other. They had their own little cabin for the entire evening. Living area, kitchenette, bathroom, front porch and a small private camp fire area with picnic tables. It was fantastic. Ann also provided us with things for iur complimentary breakfast. local fresh fruit, OJ, milk, cereal, Greek yogurt, cream cheese, bagels, and some other snacks that my kids ate before I ever laid eyes on it. We will definitely be going back to visit, kayak and hangout.

This was a last mintue trip and just for one night. Was so lucky to get a room here. What a great hidden gem. We will be coming back to stay. The room was clean, beds were comfortable. Loved the front porch with rocking chairs. Hubby didn't want me to share how awesome this place is. He wanted to keep it secret but it was really so great I had to share.

My husband, 3 young kids and I stayed at the Chaz hotel over Memorial Day weekend for the first time and absolutely loved it! I kept saying how wholesome the whole weekend was. This spot is tucked away with lots of trees and right near the water. We were able to walk the kids over to the campground kayak spot in about 2-3 minutes. There's a Publix not even 5 minutes away. The rooms and bathrooms and clean and spacious and the setup of the hotel is very unique. Can easily fit large groups/families so that they can kind of have their own section of the hotel. Each room has a key to lock the door when you leave. There's a large living room downstairs with a TV and little bar area. Wifi available and the usual apps on the TV if needed (Disney, Netflix, YouTube). Solid AC unit - one of the nights we were actually cold (we prefer to sleep that way!). We had more than enough towels and washcloths. There were hampers to throw our dirty clothes so they weren't lying around everywhere. The owners are awesome - so kind and down to earth! Outside the hotel there's a spot for a campfire, picnic tables, and an open area in the back for other activities. The entire weekend was just wholesome. We were able to spend a ton of time outside, got to get on the kayaks and go to the springs and even saw a manatee twice right next to our kayak! Love this little spot and would definitely go back. Bring bug spray :)

Me and my wife booked a room for the night and no one was here to check us in. We tried to cancel but the website wouldn't let us though we were on time for cancelation. Poor service. Not recommended for anyone. Now we have to dispute the charge to get money back.

Great little place! It was clean, neat and quiet. I could only stay one night - I think it’s a two night minimum- but they were able to accommodate me for an extra fee. There were extra comforters for the cool nights. I wasn’t expecting much for breakfast but was pleasantly surprised with different types of fresh bagels, fresh fruit, yogurt and a variety of toppings. Water pressure was amazing! The caretaker as well as the patrons were very pleasant and courteous. Would have liked to have spent some more time there to sit on the porch or grill or just enjoy the area.

During our stay at Chassahowitzka Hotel, we experienced a truly unforgettable and rejuvenating nature-filled escape in Florida. The hotel's ideal location near the Chassahowitzka River provided ample opportunities for outdoor water kayaking, and we were delighted to encounter a graceful manatee during one of our excursions. The Seven Sister Springs was an absolute gem, offering breathtaking natural beauty and an incredible spot for swimming and snorkeling. The hotel's accommodations was spacious and perfectly suited for our group of five couples and four kids. The community-style living room and kitchen brought everyone together. Fostering a warm and welcoming atmosphere for any family or friends' group reunion or wedding party. The hotel's dedication to preserving the natural surroundings and providing easy access to Florida's captivating nature was commendable. We felt deeply connected to the environment during our stay, which made it all the more special.

I was looking for a special spot to enjoy time away in between my business meetings. This was perfect! Love all the little touches and the exceptional service. Felt like home and everything was done with excellence. I’ll definitely be back! Thank you!

I was supposed to stay at the hotel, but they had problems with the hotel, so they gave me a single cabin. Plenty of room. Cold A/C, hot water with plenty of pressure. Comfortable bed. TV was just a Roku, so that wasn't helpful. WiFi was good enough for my iPad, but not robust enough for my laptop. I was there to kayak to the Seven Sisters, and they were more than helpful with that. Very friendly and very helpful.
