Love this place! Everyone in the shop is knowledgeable and extremely helpful. They have great bait and tackle at a very fair price. Shout to Ross for offering to help push my Ford if it breaks down in the parking lot!

Couple of work buddies and I wanted to do a fishing trip and one of them has used chasin tails before and I couldn't recommend them enough. We went out with Captain Hunter for a half day and had a great time. He introduced himself and did a good job being personal and remembering our names. Caught some great fish and will gladly book with Capt. Hunter again.

We had an amazing time going out with Coach. The weather was cold, the wind was, well windy, and the ocean was a little rough. With all of that working against us, we had a great time. We caught fish and enjoyed the ride. The picture is just what we kept. Coach is very customer focused and made sure we had everything we needed. We were not exhausted after the trip and continued with our day. Would highly recommend and will go out with him when we are back again.

Stopped in today after finding this bait shop on google maps, had good reviews so I figured it couldn’t be too bad. Picked some stuff out and walked to the counter to be greeted by a man who just stared at me. Did not speak one word, I actually thought maybe he was deaf. After ringing me out he put my slip to sign (paid with credit card) in front of me with a pen but still said nothing. After I signed I said “thank you” and he finally spoke, to my surprise he wasn’t deaf and he simply said “have a good day”. What a very uncomfortable experience. I just moved to the area 2 weeks ago and was looking for a local bait shop to shop at. Unfortunately, this will not be the one.

Store has everything you need for saltwater fishing. They have great selection on rod, reels, fishing lines, and lures. The staff was nice and knowledgeable. They will answer any of your questions.

Love this bait shop. My fiancé and I always go here when we’re in town for a fishing trip. Guys working there are always helpful too.

Was in Atlantic Beach on a fishing trip and needed some things... and the boyfriend just loves bait shops. Went to a little bait and tackle shop close to this one first and they were closing up shop so they did not have a lot of things we needed....or stuff we didn't need that we just buy anyway. (my boyfriend will invent a reason to buy more fishing gear) We bought what they had that we needed, and the very friendly and knowledgeable guy working there told us we could go down to Chasing Tails and get the rest of what we needed. So we did. Not a great time. The man working there was very rude. My boyfriend tried to talk fishing with him (we are not used to fishing in this area so he was getting the scoop on what was biting and where to go) and he could have not been more of a jerk. We asked him about a bait product he had and if it was any good, and he said "How should I know... we just got it...and I don't use it" -with the worst attitude. Like we knew he just got it. - Its bad when you walk into a small shop, going out of business, probably due to this big store putting them out of business, and get better customer service than this nice, beautiful, overpriced, rude employed bait shop. I just read the reviews of this place and MANY people have experienced the same thing. I recommend going somewhere else and not supporting this business. Sucks because it has a great name and its a beautiful store - just bad customer service.
