Good food, great service, in a historic building in the French Quarter. I had the blackened shrimp with jambalaya. My Road Buddy had a chicken club and the portion was huge.
Lacy was our server and she went above and beyond to get us everything we needed! The food was amazing! The drinks excellent! Even the greeters at the door were great! There was a crowd when we got there because of the rain, they told us 10 min but then found a place for us! They were all very friendly and welcoming! I highly recommend!
Chartres House Restaurant was closed for quite a while but reopened around February 2023 as a bar only. After several months it closed temporarily and has now (October 2023) reopened as a full restaurant and bar. It is still a fun place to stop in for a drink listen to the music and watch people walk by, but you can also order food and there is table service. The food is good for the price.
Had a great experience with wonderful waiter Lacy. The old fashioned and the bloody Mary were so good and the food was delicious! Will go back again!
We enjoyed the bar/grill atmosphere of the Chartres House very much! The alligator bites and gumbo were AMAZING! The bar staff was exceptional—engaging, accommodating and friendly! Definitely recommend a visit to this establishment! 5 ⭐️

Excellent food, service and drinks. The wings and empanadas were amazing!
Best Jambalaya we have had to date! The pineapple shrimp is also amazing. Our waitress, Jelly (yes that's her name) was funny and we had a great time. It is on our must do list now.
Absolutely delicious! I had the Greek Salad and Hummus with Peppers for lunch, it was so tasty, the vinaigrette was amazing, and the hummus was just perfect. Staff were nice and friendly. I visited during a week day and parking wasnât difficult to

We arrived without a reservation and were seated at the bar. It was a little cramped so reservations should be made. It was so worth it. The Short Rib, Stilton whimsy and creamed leeks were outstanding. The portions were on the small side but so
Wow, blown away by our lunch here. We arrived at 1330 without a reservation and they managed to squeeze us in as the last table before the kitchen closed, it was definitely worth the 45 minute wait. Food was outstanding, everything from the fried tu
Sweet Baby Jesus, this place is amazing ð The food is authentic, fresh, and very affordable. I demolished the beet salad, the pierogis, and the nutella & banana blini. Phenomenal food with no attitude.
What a lovely place for breakfast! It was hard to pass up the lunch menu. It was worth the 8 hour drive just for this delicious food! The Fried Tomato Eggs Benedict was amazing. They had the most surreal biscuit, and I couldn't define it because I h
Collared greens and grits blew my mind. The biscuits and gravy also great. Decent coffee. Fun self-serve atmosphere that works. Super casual and just a great spot for breakfast. Update: I went back again on day 3 of my trip to NOLA. Got the collared
Went here on a Sunday evening. It was very busy but we had a reservation so we were seated immediately. I noticed a bit later some walk-ins arrived with no reservation and had to wait. I didn't see how long they waited because our food came and I was
This restaurant got us to leave another one to come backâ¦. We arrived in New Orleans. A friend of a friend recommended this place. It was near our Airbnb and so we thought weâd give it a try. We are so incredibly glad we did. The first night we g
