Charter House - Hollywood Beach Hotels - Hotel in Hollywood - 321 Minnesota St, USA

Extremely dirty, unsafe, witnessed a drug overdose, and couldn't leave due to someone illegally parking in front of the entrance/exit of the hotel parking lot, when I went to get help from the "sister hotel" no one was in the office or answered any of my calls. Hotel rooms are disgusting, the vinyl floors were sliding around due to smelly, stagnant water damage under them. Mold damage all over the walls, no hot water, and someone pissed in the trash before we checked in???

DONT BOOK THIS HOTEL unless you are positive you wont have to cancel booking no matter what. Booked through Agoda and they had to check with the hotel when I requested a full refund with a month notice. Hotel answered back and totally refused my request due to health reasons cannot travel right now. So I will now loose 85% of my approx $100. Will never book this hotel again! HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! Great way to keep customers and to look for future customers!

DONT BOOK HERE unless you are ready to loose your money if you have to cancel for ANY reason. Booked through Agoda and the hotel refused a request for refund due to a health situation. Gave a month notice and they refused to let Agoda give me a refund. Property was contacted by agoda asking permission to refund and they downright refused and kept my money! STEER CLEAR OF THIS PLACE! Keep treating customers this way and your rating will go down the toilet!

When I got there, there was a crowd of people outside the "office" bummed out because they were being turned away, all on their phones calling whoever they booked through. I finally got in and there were people asking over and over if they had a room, being told no, no ,no. Finally, they told me they actually had a room for me. Dealing with the people in the "office" was easily a 10+ on the awkward scale. The room was ok on a good day, no carpets or rugs of any sort, i was there for 3 nights and there was no maid service, no phone, and after a night of "hmmm what is that??", I finally pinpointed the smell that was on the sheets and pillows - it smelled like kitty litter. It has a great location, but I think staying there did have a negative impact on my vacation. I actually tried to get a room at Margeritaville for the last night but it would have been $820.00 so I endured ...

Everything was perfect clean.When we asked for clean towels, they gave us cleaning towels.When we asked if we can get more toilet paper that gave it to us.We stayed over 3 weeks.Everything was perfect. The landlord is old, but it's very nice.Other than that our stay was perfect

Smell in the room was terrible. Noise of the fridge similar to diesel engine. Conditioner was working on its own rules buttons on it are useless and they was for illumination only. Noise from it was greater then fridge. I had to change two times towels with stains but get towels with less stains. Magically, but linen was like brand new. Hotel location is great.

DO NOT BOOK HERE! I went on a cruise, booked a room beforehand so I could have a room to stay in after we got back. I booked online through the CHARTER HOUSE WEBSITE, called an hour before check in to see if I could check in early at all, only to be told that I did not have a reservation there at all and that I should call my credit card company to get it figured out/reversed. I then went there in person, the second I walked through the door there was another person there having the same issue through hotels.com. They gave me the same advice and told me that as long as I hadn't been charged for it yet I would be okay. No place to stay, but I would be okay. Then after asking them why my reservation didn't go through they all told me that I couldn't book online to book through the charter house. THE WEBSITE HAS A LINK THAT SAYS BOOK NOW! I asked why even have a website if you can't use it to book anyways, the man told me I should delete it. In the end, the solution was to give me a room for the night and screw over the stack of 3-5 other people who were going to stay there tonight who the man at the counter had printed out! They knew about people not going to have a room! I REPEAT, DO NOT BOOK HERE! Holiday beach hotels, the actual chain that has a large amount of hotels, are far nicer, actually let you see what they have online and book online, and will not lie to you and/or screw over another person!

Location location..This is an older hotel but we had no issues. Hot water, cold air conditioning, and steps from the beach. We would stay again. .
