The food was decent in a pinch. Service was lacking. Never got refills for our drinks and we asked for napkins and never got those. Server was not good
Been coming to Fayetteville for 13 years, just recently started going to Charlie’s in the last year. Favorite place to go to have a drink, great atmosphere, great bartenders. Must go to if you are in the area!
Rude bartender. More interested in his phone. Asked for a beer listed on the draft beer list and he had no idea what I wanted. Had to tell him #2, then he got it.
You are correct. I left a review on your business by mistake. Sorry.
We stopped in not knowing what to except.
Ian made us feel at home with good conversation and drinks! We definitely recommend this place to anyone especially those who are going to the New River Gorge National Park.
Fantastic pub with a fantastic atmosphere and staff! We're here on vacation and stopped in for a few hours. Drink prices and selection were amazing, free pool tables, free jukebox, live music (which was also absolutely great!!). If you're looking for a laid back hole in the wall pub, this is where you need to go!
Free pool & free juke box, with board games & a nice outside space.
Bartender made us feel welcome despite clearly being tourists which is nice, as someone from a tourist destination, it's nice to feel welcomed.
Awful experience. Bartender was extremely rude, she harassed me over a perfectly legal out of state ID and said I was underage (Which i requested her to scan because I'm 28) and said that I looked like i was stupid.
Additionally, I've never been anywhere where the local patrons walked up, introduced themselves, and told me I wasn't welcome after me not doing or saying anything to them. From what they said, they were local raft guides and people from out of town weren't welcome. Notably, this is a bar open to the Public, not a private "members only" club.
Only positive thing was that the manager, was reasonable and polite.
That being said, I won't be recommending anyone go here. Maggie's pub just up the road was 100X friendlier and made me feel welcome.
Charlie's is a dive bar. As far as dive bars go, it was great. Cheap booze, funny characters inside around a free pool table. 5/5 stars, would drink cheap hooch there again.
Our stay at Lafayette Flats was perfect. The apartment was immaculate, fun, quiet, and comfortable. We had everything that we needed. The location is super convenient for visiting the New River Gorge National Park and the town of Fayetteville. We
We stopped as we were passing through and are so glad we did. We had the best meal out that we've had in a long time. The pickled beet salad was fantastic and the pork belly was amazing! We were served way more food than we could eat but somehow w
The ambience and vibe is just so carefully curated. The staff are so caring and produce an atmosphere of acceptance with timeless class. I highly recommend Rosaâs, inside the b&b. It is just an inviting throwback to the early 1900s with care to cra
Food was delicious. Coffee was wonderful and they had some interesting options I haven't seen other places. And this place is really cool inside and out! There's great art on the walls and the building itself is a cute house off the road. This was a
Weâre passing through the area visiting New River Gorge National Park and staying at the Quality Inn so we decided on trying Elliottâs since itâs just a short walk across the parking lot. I had the boneless chicken wings in kickin bourbon sauc
Surf & Turf Sushi and Pineapple Friend Rice with Chicken and an appetizer of 6 Cream Cheese Crab Wontons. All we fresh and very delicious. Service was excellent. Prices were reasonable.
If youâre in Fayetteville, you must stop at tutors biscuit world. Great food great price and a local iconic stop, especially if youâre a Whitewater boater. Early morning stop at tutors fuel up for a fun day on the river is just what you need.

We stopped in for dinner with a group of seven. We were promptly seated, even though it was on the weekend. Our server was exceedingly friendly, and the food was outstanding. Highly recommend the pulled pork mac & cheese. They are conveniently locate
