Charlie's Homemade Ice Cream & Burgers - Ice cream shop in Sylvania - 6600 W Sylvania Ave, USA

Food was good, place was cute, but needs better ventilation (was smoky!!). We got a kids grilled cheese, nuggets, and hot dog, as well as adult burger and chicken sandwich. All the food was great. The onion rings and fries sides were super good (curly fries were only ok). The ice cream was good too! (Got a chocolate shake, strawberry shake, and Superman cone) If we’re coming through town again, we’ll definitely be back!

Two customers in front of us, both only ordering ice cream. Took us 45 minutes to get two burgers. Now I know why everyone who came after us was ordering hotdogs, as we saw about 4 of those come out before our burgers. Both burgers were basically cooked to a brick-like puck. I’m assuming no one showed the kids how to cook a burger. It really wasn’t busy for a Friday night around 6:30. The ice cream is ok. Handel’s is much better.

got some ice cream a chili dog, a cheese burger and some onion rings. The chili dog sauce is super good and seemed homemade. It went well with the mustard and onions. The onion rings are hand dipped and fried to order. The burgers are fresh and made to order as well. ice cream was tasty

The Ms Burger (mushroom, Swiss n bacon) was great. I was sharing it with someone who didn't like mushrooms, so they cut it in half n kept the mushroom on my side. Bacon could have been crispier. The ice cream was great as always. Our party had mint chocolate chip n buckeye, n vanilla. We ALL enjoyed them.

Wonderful place to take the family to get some ice cream. It’s all homemade which I feel sets them apart from other places. We tried the mocha chip and it was fantastic. We also had the moose tracks as well as cookies and cream which was great as well.

First time here. The food was great, but only had 2 younger workers and the place was pretty busy. What bothered me was the bathroom was not wheel chair accessible. I know that doesn’t matter to most people, but to the people that need it, there is no restroom available. We had to leave early to find a restroom. That’s why I only gave 2 stars.

Driving by and decided to have a vanilla shake, ended up ordering a BLT to boot! Tasty! Great place to visit, don't miss it next time you drive by. Clean.

Sadly this place seems to be a hit or miss. The first time I went the food was amazing. The second time I went, which was only a few days later was nothing short of awful. Everything was burnt on burger including the bacon. The onion rings were black from being overcooked as well. I still really like their shakes, but probably not enough to come back.
