Charleston International Airport - Airport in North Charleston - 5500 International Blvd, USA

First time through this airport. Very easy to navigate for my first time through. I am sure going through security on my return trip will not be the arduous task that it is going through Atlanta. There are some nice Christmas decorations on display under a rotunda on the way to baggage claim and ground transportation.

This is a very nice airport, easy to navigate except baggage claim. Simply an embarrassment. Slow and the definition of inefficiency. Which belt does your bag arrive on? Look at the board? No no that would be to logical, however there is no board. You are told just wait and see. Unbelievable that such a nice airport in almost every other way could be so backwards in this simple task.

Great little two terminal (maybe 10 gate) airport. But my God, it easily takes 1 hour after you land for your bags to be on the carousel. Imagine you land on one of those 11:45pm flights and have to wait until almost 1am for your bag!! Might as well just leave it and come claim it the next morning! Otherwise it's a sweet little airport.😊

It's always a pleasure flying out of this location. It's fast, and staffing and management are so kind and professional

Very neat airport. Small but convenient

Nice airport but holy cow you need to address your luggage handling. I fly in and out of CHS often and for the past year, getting bags has been a nightmare. It's not uncommon to wait 30-45 minutes and several times it has taken nearly an hour. This is unacceptable for an airport of this size. I'll change the review if I ever get my bags in less than 15 minutes. Update Sept. 2023: my last few flights have seen better results. Still slow for the size of the Airport but at least I'm not dozing off waiting for my bags now.

I fly out of here often and today I had the best service at the valet station. I’m traveling with a toddler Wayne helped me get to the check in counter and alleviated all the stress I had of traveling solo with several bags and a toddler. I went to give him a tip and he refused it. He was a complete gentleman and I can’t express my gratitude enough. I appreciate you Wayne!

Check in was smooth at the kiosk. The Southwest agents were friendly and the wheel chair escort through TSA was so helpful. My only issue was the distance between the rental car garage and the terminal. I walk with a cane and it's too far. A shuttle for those limited with mobility needs to be established. I know I'm not the only one.
