It's kind of what you'd expect from a roadside Pit Beef stand. I ordered the pit beef sandwich with horseradish, onion, and mayo. The bun was large and didn't fall apart in my hand. The meat itself was generous, though a bit dry and sinewy and not as flavorful as I hoped. And while I ordered it medium rare, the meat came out medium. The onions were finely chopped red onions. They were flavorful. French fries were solid.

We’d been told to try them and were finally in the area. I had the Larry sandwich and hubs had the Danski. Yummy in our tummy! The beach fries were perfectly seasoned and the cole slaw was chopped and really fresh. It’s a covered stall with a couple of uncovered outdoor tables. I look forward to trying more off the menu. We will go back.

5 star - ribs, pulled pork sandwich, beach fries, baked beans, and 1/2 and 1/2 3 star - BBQ chicken breast, coleslaw, and Mac and cheese Avoid the 3 star items and you’ll have an unforgettable meal.

This is a hidden gem. Finger licking, sweet tangy savory bbq, great side salads. Always packaged with rolls and extra napkins. Has become our favorite until PoGreens returns.

Ordered food for 40 people. Pit beef, turkey, pulled pork, sides - everything was excellent and my guests were impressed. We also got buffalo wings which were large and fresh! I'm so excited that I got to go back to Charcoal Deli to cater a family party - last time I got food from you guys I was 17 and Johnny C's was still open! Keep up the great work, we'll be back!

Waited 40 plus minutes for 2 sandwiches and an order of fries. Not extremely busy, just super slow. Didn't use the grill to its potential as we could see the grill from where we were standing.

THE BEST pit beef around. Great staff very friendly....never ever a let down. Try the hot roast beef platter!

This place has fallen off. The Mac and cheese is greasy and flavorless and all around terrible. The ribs were lackluster, kinda like the grocery store ones in shrinkwrapped plastic that were frozen for 2 years and then your mom remembered em and cooked em up one night. The only thing that was good was the sweet tea and lemonade. They should close the doors and just quit trying.
