You can buy little agates/crystals or from the big piles per pound. They have a good variety including jewelry and statues. They even have a little museum!
Really fun pitstop! Had a good time browsing the gem collection which is one of the largest collections in the state. The staff was really friendly and the prices were very reasonable! I highly suggest stopping in.
Very cool shop. It's definitely worth a stop if you're into this sort of thing. We spent about 45 minutes walking around and checking things out. It's almost a museum in there.
Wonderful stop on the 101 with a great selection of (hard to believe but it's true) gems and minerals. The gallery is a real highlight.
Every time I stop by, I have to stop myself from wanting to buy up the whole store! I love everything and anything rocks and this place is heaven. I highly recommend browsing the bulk (outdoor) section for as long as you’re interested; there are some really fantastic finds for a price you won’t find anywhere else. The indoor part of the store has a bit of everything and I love that they have authentic inventory— not dyed agate everywhere. The family owned atmosphere and the amount of knowledge their staff has is incredible. The museum is well thought out and a must see for any visitor or local. Chapman’s is a ‘gem’ of Humboldt County and I thank this store for all they provide for us rock lovers.
Always a great experience, super reasonable prices, friendly and helpful staff, and a great selection of crystals and minerals. The museum was open this time too, which was absolutely beautiful.
If I could give this place 10 stars, I would. I highly recommend that you stop in. Unique gifts for anyone and everyone. Great prices as well. We ended up with marbles, necklaces, rings and a jewelry box.

Hiked the Elk River Trail and it was the most amazing, quiet, and serene hike I've ever been on. It made Redwoods National Park seem busy and touristy.

Literally the only place you should ever get coffee in fortuna or the greater humbled area. Like if you got to travel far you should go there cuz it is amazing that people are all smiles. Service is fast and the coffee is to Good to be true.
Excellent food, excellent service. It echos a lot and there are several TVs on loud, if you're sensitive to sound (I am). I will come back again. The prices are fair for the portions.
