Liked this area, but lots of homeless people around walking, sitting, or laying down. However it's was safe due to the Justice Center right across the street. Cops were also all around. Kids were able to sit and rest while we were on an urban hike of City Center Portland.
This area smells very bad. The parks are no longer safe for the average citizen. The trash and vandalism is everywhere. Always drive with doors locked and do not allow yourself to be surrounded by a mob. Personal safety first!
We came to fight fascism. The city is bruised but we will rebuild. This is the price we pay to keep the knees of would be tyrants off our necks.

Truly lovely spot, the redwoods look like they touch the sky. The observation deck has some seating to just sit and enjoy the forest. The trail is a nice walk.
