Beautiful little park with the surrounding mountains as the backdrop. They have basketball goals, several covered picnic areas, a playground, and a 1/2 mile track around the perimeter of the central field. Oh, and free WiFi!!
There was a car show so I stopped to check it out on way back from Mt. Biking. Great park and some fantastic cars. Friendly welcoming people and community.

Stopped after a long drive to stretch my legs. The park has a well maintained path to walk around. Restrooms were open to public and clean enough. Several places to sit at a table in the shade and enjoy the view or have a snack.
Here's what you need to know if you're coming through from out of town: •This is a beautiful and clean park! • There are public restrooms. They're similar to what you would find at a national park. It you want something a bit nicer just drive further into town to a gas station or grocery store. • plenty of trash cans, benches, tables, & doggie bag dispensers. • nice playground for your kids to play. • nice track that goes all the way around the park. FYI, if you walk two laps it's almost a mile. • if you have little ones or pets please keep in mind that this park is directly parallel to the highway, meaning half of this park is very close to high speed traffic. • there is a grocery store across the highway from the park.
Great park for a small town! We had our class reunion there, and the gazebo was large enough for all of us to eat under. Clean grounds, green grass, perfect for our occasion.

We drove by this place once because we thought it was a furniture shop. The front of the building is, but the restaurant is in the back and also has a drive through. Although it was a little hard to find, we enjoyed it and will stop in again!
