The biggest University chapel in the United States. It is a very calm and quite place to sit and meditate. They have different services available for those who want to attend worship services... it is one of its kind in the States and a good place to visit. I have seen people from different religion spending quite time there meditating...

My wife and I stopped by here on our way back home from our trip to Valpo. I had seen pictures of this church but wanted to see it for myself. It was beautiful! I would definitely call this a must see if you are ever in Valpo.

This is a beautiful 50s University Chapel. A tremendous pipe organ dedicated by Virgil Fox in the 50s. It was rebuilt in the late 90s and expanded. Saturday May 5th will be the 20th John Philip Sousa Memorial concert in the chapel I believe it's at 1 p.m. 200 musicians playing Seuss's music and others I would urge anyone to go to this you will not be sorry. I must qualify that they took out pews and put in chairs that are less than comfortable. Today the 5th, the 20th annual John Philip Sousa Memorial concert was held in the chapel. Usually the first weekend in May. Well worth the trip over to Valparaiso. It is held in the chapel. And is a lot of fun and well attended

This place is an artistic marvel, there are many hand made works of sculptures. It was was so beautiful I took a model there for a photo shoot. Top shelf environment for the whole family.

Concert there. Beautiful. Seating was weird but did hear music ok. No close handicapped parking. Chapel windows were beautiful though not well displayed.

I am a part of VHS Concert Choir and have performed in the VU Chapel of the Resurrection several times. It is a beautiful space not only to sing in, but simply to be in.

Beautiful wasted space. In Europe, they would play the organ much more often, but since about 1999 the organ has barely been heard in solo recitals.

This is a great place to go for a walk or hike! I enjoy coming here to fish the lake, although it is a heavily pressured lake, it's still fun! Also, they have a few playgrounds for the small children that are decent.
