Chanticleer Inn Bed and Breakfast - Bed & breakfast in Lookout Mountain - 1300 Mockingbird Ln, USA

The best b&b in the mountains! We stayed for a few nights in room 10. As others have said, the room is smaller, but the bathroom makes up for the difference. There is a separate shower and 2-person whirlpool tub in the bath. We spent full days hiking/adventuring, so the room size wasn’t the biggest deal to us- but the soaking tub after a day of hiking was great! Very nice smelling bath salts too! The only downside with the room was no fridge or microwave- so no place for leftovers.||The inn is conveniently located across the street from Rock City- you can walk to that attraction. Breakfast is AMAZING. Something for everyone and you will be full. The robes are comfy and wick the wet away. The bocce court is fun entertainment after a day out exploring. They have a pool, but we didn’t use it. They also have a nice outdoor fire pit where you can enjoy a glass of wine with other guests. We will absolutely stay here again during our next trip to the mountains.

We absolutely loved our stay here for our short weekend “baby moon”! I had stayed once before on a girls trip and knew this would be the perfect little getaway for my husband and me. Breakfast each morning was amazing! We had the specials in addition to the little breakfast bar. First morning was French toast and bacon and the second was homemade biscuits and sausage gravy. I enjoyed the egg option! The scrambled eggs were perfect and fluffy. ||The patio area is the perfect place to sit and relax each morning and the bocce ball court was a fun afternoon activity after enjoying the afternoon snacks provided in the main area of the inn. ||Highly recommend this bed and breakfast experience to anyone looking to step into a quiet and quaint getaway for a few days.

Exceptional inn well deserving of its five star ratings. We stayed in room 3 which has a king sized bed and fireplace. The room was immaculately clean with thoughtful touches including different types of bed pillows to suit fluffy to squishy to downy preferences. The grounds are also beautiful and tranquil. Our server at breakfast was exceptionally friendly and attentive. The inn is well worth the drive (up Lookout Mountain) and the price. Just perfect.

In May 2024 I spent 5 nights at the Chanticleer Inn on Lookout Mountain in Room 14. After the closure of a sister inn they had graciously transferred my reservation here. The grounds are lovely. The room was delightful with a “steam shower” which is like a steam bath and very pleasant. Everything was clean and neat and the bed was very comfortable. Mark Alexander in the inn office was more than helpful. Mark answered my questions, fixed the TV, and helped me with my luggage. Although a 5-minute walk from the Rock City attraction, the inn is on a corner of a residential street and it is like being in the country. I would definitely choose the Chanticleer if I return to Chattanooga.

Loved the room and surrounding venue. We sat by the swimming pool and watched a couple playing boce ball. The fire pit was lit and we had a conversation with others. Breakfast was good and the staff was friendly and available.

Fantastic service at this resort. They go the extra mile to help. Give them your business if your headed to Eagle River. We had an unexpected situation that affected our trip, and Jenny went above and beyond to be helpful. We will def stay here when we go up north in the future.

First time for 3 nights (May 10th, 11th, 12th) 2024. Breakfast great, afternoon snacks very good also. People nice. About 100 years old, so a little tired. Bathroom vent dirty. Note in room saying due to difficulties hiring help, no maid service. I find that unacceptable. If you are in this business and we are paying close to $300.00 a night, I expect maid service. At least take the maids 'tip box' out of the room!! Because we accomplished everything we came for, we left early since didn't want to sleep 3 nights in a unkept bed (had to put the towels outside if you wanted clean towels). Did not ask for any type of refund, and none offered. Has the potential, just not there....at least for our stay.

The inn was truly charming! I absolutely love what they have going on here. The location is beautiful and convenient to many sweet spots on lookout mountain! Their breakfast is also amazing!
