Champs Sports Grill - Sports bar in State College - 1611 N Atherton St, USA

Nice place, fairly large, the food was good but don’t expect to be blown away. The star here is the great beer selection and the ability to have a flight.

Visiting State College for the first time in 5 years. We got the Reuben, the World Cup, and the hot dog (for our son). The sandwiches were fresh, hot, and so tasty. My wife wouldn't shut up about her World Cup! It was really good and I wish I could go more. Full disclosure, I worked at Champs about 8 years. The sandwiches were as good as I've ever had them!

Excellent food and drinks with great atmosphere. This is a very large restaurant and bar. Don't let the crowded look scare you away. There is plenty of parking and seating. The restaurant and bars were clean. It is well decorated with multiple televisions broadcasting current sporting events. The staff was friendly and busy. The food is excellent. It tastes great and portions are large. Our server was fantastic. Overall, great experience and great dinner. Thank you!!

Every time I go to Champs I always make sure to bring my family and friends. In my opinion, Champs is a great place to eat great food and watch sports with your friends and family. Every single time I have gone here, I have watched sports, went with my family or went with my friends. This is also a great place to eat during your or someones else's birthday party. There is one thing I do not like about Champs though. It is that there is always a bunch of people. I always have to make sure that I'm not going on a football weekend because it will always be packed. Beside that, Champs is a great place to go with friends or family.

This is supposedly a Margherita pizza. No tomato sauce, just cup up tomatoes instead. No basil. And the crust was thick and so burned that it was inedible. 🤮 Wegman’s pizza is better. Domino’s is better. Really, any other place would be better than this.

We came at peak time on a Saturday night, and were told our wait could be a half hour. Fortunately, we got seated in 10 minutes. The place is pretty large, so they have pretty ample seating. Our service was outstanding. Our server was Kyle, and he did a great job at making sure we a great dining experience. They have a great beer list (coming from a beer aficionado), and the menu had options for everyone in our family, including a vegan. Great place for a family meal and/or to catch a game!

This used to be our go-to place for wings going to PSU. We were seated pretty quickly but it took a while for the server to acknowledge us and take our order. We were disappointed that they got rid of the water bucket from the menu. We ordered nachos, kids meal, and 3 orders of wings (harlicky, meek, arrogant). The nacho was good, the burger kids meal was over cooked. The wings were cooked well but the sauces were not impressive. They didn't feel light and glossy.. rather thick and made the wings feel soggy. Very salty too. The beer was good and the atmosphere was good.
