I love exploring places that are hyper local to us. We decided to stop and watch people fish and just run out a little bit of energy. This is a great local access for the Chehalis Western trailhead bike path as well. Plenty of parking and a couple of picnic areas as well. Lots of shade for hotter days to sit under.
This trail is great, I walk it frequently with my family. It's a paved pathway, and it goes for what feels like forever! Great for kids, dogs, elderly, and for me while I was pregnant. The trees are beautiful this time of year, as well. I think the best part is how quiet it can be at times. Everyone I pass on the trail usually smile and are very friendly.
Bicyclists are on this pathway frequently but are usually very good about alerting when they are passing on your left.
Why four stars: There are some things about this area that make me uncomfortable at times. There are houseless people who sleep in the grassy area near the entrance at times, but I've never been bothered by any of them. Some sketchy cars linger in the parking lot, and people watch. And just recently, while I was walking with my son, some guy tried talking to me, winking at me, but I kept walking and ignored him. Personally, I won't stop walking the trail for these reasons, as it rarely happens, and more often than not, we have a great time.
Love it and the trail is nice the bench by the lake is wonderful and even the bathroom was open for use and one of the cleanest public restrooms I have ever seen. A+ love this place so pretty too...
Seems like a beautiful Greenway with a restroom facility at the trailhead. Biking and walking and running. I look forward to many walks here.
Love this amazing trail for biking or walking the dog (on leash). There's fishing at the lake though I'm not sure what there is not catch.
There is a nice bathroom and a beautiful lake. There is only one small dock to enjoy the water though. It's right on the Chehalis trail. It's beautiful.
It is a starting point for the Chehalis western trail. There were a lot of people out which was great!
Its a quiet walk area, no hills. The bicycles sometimes ride too fast.

My family chose this park for an outing and we were not disappointed. The view was beautiful, it wasn't really busy at all, and the playground and bathrooms were clean! Walking the boardwalk was very refreshing. It's dog friendly as long as they're l
What a majestic and beautiful rainforest! The loop trail was 1.4 miles and extremely easy. Multiple dogs with owners on the path, and everyone was extremely friendly. I saw a lot of folks walking or running with headphones, but if itâs your first t
Beautiful park with restrooms, large grass fields, baseball fields, tennis courts, playground and walking trail on the perimeter. Ample parking with two lots on opposite sides of the park. Hopefully the kids zip line gets fixed soon.
In the last few days we've walked most of the trails at least once, since we are anchored right off the beach (it's been rainy but gorgeous). The whole park is beautifully maintained, with nice trails that have steps in the steep sections. The walkin
Great addition to the park a few years ago. Covered area with tables and cement "bench" around the majority of the circumference. Nice option for kids and parents who don't want to go to Wild Waves or other expensive water parks, but still can enjoy

Great park and picnic area. Found best time to go with dog is before noon. Less people but for a good mix of people, going here is always a good vibe! Lots of nature here...the water area is very popular and a great place to cool off in the waters. S

Fuzzzy caterpillars roam the fields at this easy going park.
My daughter and I came across this caterpillar while on our walk around the parks little trail that loops around the park.
As for the park itself, very nicely kept and
You can say a lot and do a lot at this park it is huge . It seems like a downtown park with the malls and shops and rows or upscale apartments kinning the entrance road to one side of the park. The other side of the park is an entrance that you got
