Chalk'd Fitness - Gym in Ocala - 1600 SW 17th Ave, USA

I completed my 6 week challenge. I am happy to say that I am down 15 pounds. Since I started at the gym. I have lost a total of 25 pounds so far. I do not plan on stopping either. I turned 40 in March and I knew I needed to make some changes to better myself. So I joined Chalk'd and I have not regretted any part of doing so. I have 3 bulged disk/spurs in my lower back. This I know would hinder my work outs but the staff at this gym always showed me a way to modify my training to benefit myself. As a large girl and no lower body strength I had my struggles. But everyone helps you out and offers such a positive environment it helps you want to try and push that much harder. I plan to continue my work outs and build strength and drop the pounds. Thank you for such a great experience!!!

Best CrossFit gym in Ocala by far. All workouts are doable by any fitness levels. Even day one beginners. I've never met a group of people that make up such a supportive community. The support of the other members and staff make it worth going back every time.

You are not going to find a better gym to be a part of that CrossFit Ocala Second-2-None! The members are truly like a family. Joey and Renee truly care about each athlete's progress and goals. .Whether you are an elite athlete, or just starting your fitness journey, you are an important part of the community. This gym and my coaches have changed my life.

I was apprehensive before joining crossfit but the coaches make it a safe and fun environment. You are treated as a person and not a number like other gyms I have been involved. Great group of coaches and members. Easy to join and each day is a challenge. If you are a beginner to an advanced crossfitter the coaches will challenge you and continue to improve each day. This is truly a quality program operated by quality staff demonstrating that "Crossfit Ocala is definitely second to none."

I dropped into CrossFit Ocala when out of town. The community was welcoming and upbeat. I was also happy to seee that everything was really clean. On top of all of that, the coaching was great - very attentive. I would definitely recommend CF Ocala to anyone looking to get started with a fitness routine or just looking to get a new change of pace from their regular routine.

This is an awesome place! Everyone is super fun and super motivating. The classes are great. I love how regardless of where you’re at physically, the coaches are willing and able to adjust and make the workouts fit your needs and ability.

At the age of 69 I walked into this gym with fear and trepidation. I was overweight by 30 #, unable to do most of the physical assessment test administered by Joey Williams, owner and coach. I was fairly certain that I was too old to start Crossfit. Joey encouraged me to try a class the next day, which I did, and felt as if I might die that day ! I didn't die! I returned the next day, and the next, and the next.....and ( with one or two short quit phases:) I am still here 2 1/2 years later, 30# gone, more flexibility, strength, endurance and gratitude. I've competed in power lifting and even represented the USA in the 2013 World Master Bench Press competition held in England, bringing a Silver Medal home ! Coaches Joey, Renee, Devin, AJ, Kelvin, Haley and now Vilma and Lotte have all contributed to my progress and encouraged me through my journey. CF220 is family ! And I hope to be part of this family for many years to come. It changed my life, and it can change yours too !
