Chalet Motel - Motel in Ocean Township - 906 NJ-35, USA

The girl that works here and answers the phone is very very very rude and unprofessional!!!!! She answers the phone with " WHAT!? " They should fire this woman!!!!!!

The Room was great, Lesson learned - don't judge a book by its cover - Pulling in the parking lot, one would think No way - and then checking in I had to talk to the desk clear behind a glass window, I really did have second thoughts I was handed the room key and WOW it was like night and day. The room was brand new - new hardwood floors, new furniture new paint, new Micro wave and fridge - and yes the bathroom was redone too. I think a new owner just recently took over and they are remodeling the rooms. It was perfect. Outside not so good Room - all new and very clean.

I have called this place for 2 days straight & I never get an answer. It’s kind of annoying, I don’t even think the number is accurate it just rings and then makes crazy noises. So very very annoyed at that. Wish someone would answer.

So we went to check in at Oceanic and it felt like i was in the getto. So are last minute check in at the chalet and let me tell you the manger Mike was so nice he let us check the room out before we paid. And they did a real nice makeover,Also there's no getto people hanging out front. And the rooms are so clean because everything is up to date. Also they have a walking closet wich in good for my wife lol. This place gets five starts.

Lmao I tried to stay here last minute.. guy kept yelling at me in the phone, I called back he yelled again... it sounded like I was calling a mental asylum. My fiancé called to see if it wS a female thing he was told no vacancy and hung up on. At least I was given a price and hung up on TWICE! Musta thought I was a hoe bringing money to the place... never saw it in person this is all four phone calls

I gave it one star because that's how I felt it was, my boyfriend would have given it 3 stars, it all depends upon what your used to. If your a Ramada, Holiday Inn type, then this wouldn't be a good hotel for you to stay at for more than a night or two. I felt it was cheesy, but it was better than most of the other hotel nearby. It is quiet, I felt safe and I didn't see any bugs, plus it's right off RT35 and near plenty of shopping, such as Target, Shoprite and Sears. It's also near a few places for food like IHOP, Applebee's, a pizza place that's pretty decent, Chinese, Burger King and a Subway (i think.) Your also about 10 minutes away from Asbury Park boardwalk where there is even more things to do and places to go. My boyfriend lived in the hotel for about a month. When your driving down RT 35 South, you have to be very mindful of the driveway..it does sneak up on you! It's after the traffic light at Sunset, which is near the Burger King and before the next light. I believe it's right before a car dealership, but don't quote me on that.

Lost my iphone and they gave it back very nice people and the owner is a very sweet person thank you
