Pretty spot for a hike, nice crossing the bridge witnessing fall foliage
This was the place where I ended my run and started to hike. A very small car parking lots, for less than ~10 cars. Connected to hiking trails not far away. Running trail connect to the middle of the bridge.
I drove over the bridge and didn't plummet into the water. You can't ask much more from a bridge, I guess?
nice for hike and fish
A narrow and uninspiring bridge used mainly for its functionality in getting into or out of DC. The pedestrian features of this bridge don't exist. If you desire to bike across this bridge, don't. On either side, there's no where to go. On the Arlington side you'll find yourself at the bottom of a deep ravine that you will need to pedal out of. And there's no good shoulder here! On the DC side you'll find yourself on River Road which is quite dangerous and one way outbound in the afternoon.
It's weird to review a bridge, I guess, but this one is actually a great place to visit! amazing view of the Potomac gorge and lowland forest. Some rapids can also be seen here. Additional, there are many great trails accessable from here: Potomac Heritage Trail, Pimmit Run trail, and C&O towpath. Parking is readily available on both sides, and you can also park at Ft Marcy and hike to the bridge (stream crossing with stepping stones necessary). Parking can fill up before 9am and again after 3pm in the summer months.
Absolutely love &pizza in Tysons! The service is amazing and the workers are very friendly! They are very sensitive to any dietary restrictions and willing to change gloves or pizza cutters when requested. The toppings are always fresh. Definitely wo
It's a quick hike from Difficult Run into Great Falls. A few steep areas but overall I would rate it as an easy hike. There are several nice overlooks and a small but scenic waterfall on the way to the main park.
If you're rich or want to pretend you are, this is your place. No Claire's or Sam Goody here. This mall is top-notch high scale. You'll need more than a hundred dollars to do anything here. I do recommend the steakhouse if you want a good meal. $5 dr
Went to celebrate my momâs birthday. They were so nice and they made her feel so special. So glad I came here and will def return. Plus the food was delicious 𤤠Iâm a customer for life ð¥°
What a great find! Had the Calamari with Fra-Diavolo sauce. Cooked perfectly and the sauce wasn't too spicy. The Ravioli Di Granchio was excellent: stuffed with crab meat with lobster and saffron sauce. Service was spot on. Will definitely be back.
I love Rocco's, one of my all time favorite restaurants for over 35 years, it always had the best pizza. I have fond memories of this place as a kid and it's still great. A real gem and reasonably priced for McLean. Highly recommend!
