Great, quick stop for a history or military buff and/or Elvis fan. Lots of memorabilia about Elvis when he had his military haircut and stay at Camp Chaffee when he joined the Army. Friendly volunteer was there to share lots of info. Another room full of Chaffee and area history. Free admission . Walk across the parking lot to check out the Museum of Chaffee History too.
If you are an Elvis fan it's a must visit. If you enjoy military history, it should be one of your stops. Small but very interesting
Good experience I had. Those lady there were amazing very friendly ladies
If your heart is set on coming here to visit, call before you come. I drove 6 hours out of my way to visit this specific museum. I am also a Barber and my shop is decorated decorated with all Elvis. So this was extra sentimental to me. I planned my vacation around this visit. I was so sad to arrive an hour before closing and no one was around. I saw a small sign in the window.
Located within the grounds of Fort Chaffee Joint Maneuver Training Center, Fort Smith, AR, it previously was an active barbershop. It's also the barbershop where Elvis received his military haircut!
The museum is stuffed full of military memorabilia. You can also sit and watch military and wartime movies. The staff is so friendly and accommodating.
Loved visiting the Chaffee Barbershop. My dad worked there in the 50's! It is truly a timeline of the time Elvis was stationed at Ft. Chaffee, Arkansas. Wonder just how many military men and women, and legal refugees have been in that barbershop!
If you are an Elvis fan, you don't need to miss out on this! The museum is set in the original Fort Chaffee barber shop that Elvis got his head shaved in. Sit in the chair he sat in, look at before and after pictures of his haircut, take pictures of the life-size cut out the king. Along with all the Elvis memorabilia there is also all sorts of military history to read and look at in there as well. It's a great place to visit if you are into Elvis, history or military.
Just love. Not a fan of Elvis but loved the information that was given

I thoroughly enjoy the wonderful soaps, body moisture creams, and chapstick. The scents are wonderful. Some of the chapstick is seasonal, which makes it fun.
I've been very impressed with how the instructors are able to blend discipline and high expectations with meeting kids at their level. Our child has made so much progress in just a few classes!
Impromptu walk today here. We actually parked halfway in the middle by the new rv park being built and walked to the steel bridge going left on the concrete trail. On the way back we stopped and turned down real trails and man we walked forever! At t

Great selection of seafood. Very friendly and helpful staff too. They were supper busy the day before Christmas Eve but boiled my shrimp for me when I had ordered it to raw. It was a little thing but greatly appreciated by me.
This was our first visit to the new restaurant which was previously the Rialto. The food was delicious, our server Vincent was outstanding, he is the best ! We look forward to our next visit. Great atmosphere, food and service !
Dog friendly (leash required) and lots to do if you have a family or go solo. Nice playground on the east end for kids along with covered picnic areas. Clean restrooms are close by. The paved trail near the disc-golf parking area connects to Chaffee
