Such a beautiful, pleasant park with nice hiking trails that go around the lake. Very well kept and clean by staff members. I really was impressed by how clean the restrooms were. I'm so glad we signed up for to be members. Also a great place to walk your dog too.
Wonderful park - no riff raff. Awesome playground and loop around the lake for a hike. Amphitheatre, ga ga ball, rental pavillions, picnic tables, basketball, roller/ice rink, this place has it all. Yearly fee or day pass available - more $ for non dirty burgh residents...
Nice park to bring the family to. There are trails, a children playground and areas to sit and do a BBQ. You can also rent boats, which are $15 a day for Newburgh residents and go fishing. The park is $20 per year for Newburgh residents and $40 for non-residents. Great park for dogs as well!
Great park to bring your children or grandchildren. The park is clean and safe. Hiking trails, fishing, boat rentals and large playground. There are pavilions for parties too. I have enjoyed this park for many years. Taught my grandsons and granddaughter how to skip stones on the lake there.
You have to show your pass or pay the security guard to get in the main entrance so this feels safer than most other parks. Newburgh Town residents over 60 get in for free. Miles of well maintained walking trails along a pretty Lake. A little road noise from the Thruway and quite a bit more road noise on the east side of Lake.
Chadwick Lake Park is a nice place to take you your family too, you can do biking, rent a boat, fishing ( with a fishing license) , there’s also a basketball court , playground, you can take a nice jog around the lake. Parking permit for the year is $20.00 (2022 price) for Newburgh residence and non residence $40.00 (2022 price) , it’s worth it .
Nice park but the head security guy is a total power tripping maniac. Parked exactly where Google maps led us, which happened to be a neighboring business. No signs posted about not being able to park there, and the head park manager, who informed us he was retired law enforcement, threatened to literally call police for trespassing, have us arrested, and tow our car. We were from out of town just looking for a nice place to walk and relax. We actually couldn’t even leave because he wanted to keep speaking. We tried walking away to our car and he demanded that he finish speaking or he’d call the police for trespassing. Such a downer experience. Park was alright though.
beautiful park, amazing people here just being human. such a great day.
A shabby chic park with a large lake, big beautiful trees, lots of geese and ducks, a cafe-type spot (wasnât open when we were there), benches with park views, and a well worn path for walking and maybe a little biking, or biking for a little one.
Only joined a few weeks ago and Iâm already hooked ! The coaches are amazing , the members are so welcoming and motivating. Such a great group of people at every class time. I actually enjoy and look forward to working out now. Worth every penny !
Saxon Hall is always an awesome place to come and have some fun with a large group, or in the case of this visit, just you and your partner! We made a reservation for 8:30pm but came early and luckily there was a lane open so we were able to get star
As a new resident to the area, I was worried if Iâd find the equivalent or better Jamaican food as the Bronx. I was pleasantly surprised as both visits to GK were met with wonderful customer service by the female serving and the male cashing. Iâm
The tea here is phenomenal. The service is on point! The tea-ristas are friendly and personal when it comes to delivering an experience. They were very helpful when explaining menu items and let my friend and I try several teas before deciding whi
Great staff. Brittany and Jean always have a smile on their face and are so friendly.

Classic joint with great quality dogs (with a casing). Chili dog is a winnerâsauce is thin but very flavorful. Plenty of other topping options and meal specials. My colleagueâs son described Peteâs as âthe most amazing place in the worldâ a
As a huge fan of Citrus in New Windsor, Iâm so excited I finally got a chance to try out her sister restaurant Orange Hill. Everything we had was exceptional. The swordfish was cooked perfectly. Our service was great and the interior has a modern a
I love this place so much. It takes patience sometimes because they get super busy since they're so amazing and well priced. They treat you like family even the first time you come in. The waitress whom I call "mama" is the absolute sweetest person a
Great service and great attention to detail with everything. The tacos were overwhelming with flavor and the drinks very carefully made. They are very well organized and staff expertly trained. Everything was explaining with detailâ¦.most importantâ
So we have seen a lot of amazing reviews and mentions of this place for a couple years. The other night we were in town and even though it says reservations recommended it was 7:00 pm and figured why not try a table for two. 10 minutes later we had a
