Chachama Grill - American restaurant in East Patchogue - 655 Montauk Hwy, USA

I absolutely love Chachama although it’s in a shopping strip that truly deserves a little more love…Chachama seems to be a family run establishment with a great upscale environment that seems a bit snug. The food presentation is phenomenal and the staff is always quick to serve and clean. The only reason I took a star is because we arrived to be seated so close to the one and only table that was occupied and for my husband and I it’s always preferred to have some space to enjoy our experience, anyways this place is really fabulous and I would recommend checking out as the menu is exquisite!

My husband found this place while driving our baby around for a nap. Since moving here from nyc it’s been difficult to find a restaurant that really “wowed” me. We made a reservation for 5 pm on Sunday, good thing we did because they got quite the crowd from 5:30 on of what seem to be regulars. We came with our 10 month old baby who is incredibly sweet and chill. He is however, a baby. At one point he got a little fussy and so my husband and I took turns taking him outside while we ate. One older woman told my husband she comes here to avoid babies and she’s raised hers already which was incredibly rude and so I hope I don’t see her again. Other than that, our experience was incredible food was DELICIOUS and the service was EXCELLENT. We took our dessert to go because it was nearing our sons bedtime and even that was out of this world. So happy to find this place. Everything really was cooked to perfection and even the toasted rolls with sugar butter was great ! I’ll be back and I sure hope I don’t see that woman, lol

We reserved Chachama Grill for a family and friends meeting to memorialize my mother who had just passed away. The staff were very sensitive and caring. The price was reasonable per plate and the atmosphere was very nice. They were kind enough to allow us to come a little earlier than the restaurant officially opened which gave us much needed privacy during this somber and solemn luncheon in December, a busy time for restaurants. We were very pleased with the food and presentation as well. It was clear we all enjoyed our food. I highly recommend Chachama Grill. Just a warning: the shopping center is off putting and has a lot of vacant stores. But Chachama Grill is like an oasis in a dry, sad desert.

I had wanted to come to this restaurant since I had read some good reviews a while back. It was our wedding anniversary, so we went. It’s located in a shopping center, but when you go inside the restaurant is very nice. We decided to order from the Latin menu. For the appetizer I ordered the yucca salad. The display was lovely and when I tasted it, it was very good, but when I was half way through it, something became very chewy. It was a rubber band…in my salad. I was disgusted and shocked. My husband went to tell the waiter, and he came over and apologized and said this had never happened in his 25 years of working there. He asked if I wanted to choose another appetizer, but I was not interested. We decided to stay and continue with our meal. I had ordered the paella. It was not like any paella I had ever had. It was tasty, but watery and very greasy. They did not charge me for my appetizer or my meal. We left extremely disappointed. Long story short, I hardly got any sleep that night, with stomach pains, vomiting and diarrhea, my husband too. I would not recommend Chachama Grill.

Every single dish was delicious & perfectly cooked and presented, including the drinks. The staff were attentive and the service was wonderful. The wait time for each course was reasonably short & I did not feel rushed. The environment is cozy and very comfortable, great located for a date.

Chachama is my favorite restaurant. Their butternut squash soup is amazing. I've enjoyed their fish dishes, especially the salmon or swordfish. The Napoleon is a fantastic dessert. The price fixe is a good buy. Service is always topnotch.

Food and wine was absolutely incredible as well as the staff and they decorated the desert for the occasion so nicely! The place was very clean and peaceful making for a great intimate dinner. We will 10000% come back

Food was amazing, and I am a very picky eater. I would absolutely recommend!
