Absolutely our favorite coffee shop and bakery in Boise! So many items to choose from for dine in or take out (bowls, breakfast sandwiches, baked goods galore) and prepared foods (lasagnas, pot pies, burritos, salads, etc) for dinner. Some of our favorites include the breakfast sandwiches with their own English muffins, the grain bowl, granola bar (it’s HUGE) and had the chicken pot pie last night! Their coffee and homemade syrups are always on point.
Excellent is an understatement! Loved this place. Damn good sandwiches & baked goods. Sourdough brownie was so rich & has unique flavor. Lemon bar was too good, so was the star cookie. They use house made bread, which is superb. A hidden gem & must visit. Their English muffin starter is over 50 years old.
Had the Certified egg sandwich ... one of the best egg sandwiches i have ever had ... with melted white cheddar and a delicious cream dressing that makes it unique. The staff are genuinely friendly. Oh and i almost forgot to mention the coffee which is really good too
This place blew me away. It was so much better than I expected! My husband got the certified breakfast sandwich with the house made English muffins and it was SO good, too! I said to my husband, this is what food is supposed to be like! Just good, honest, made with love food. Everything was so flavorful and everyone was so kind. Highly recommend.
My wife had a wonderful salad from here. Very large, big enough for two meals. She also had the Criminal Carrot Cake. Delightful! I had the pulled pork sandwich on the best, crusty sourdough roll. A very busy, popular business. Great food.
Can't give this place a 5 star because not all of the food is great. We got the certified breakfast sandwich, a corque madame and a snickerdoodle. The certified was great, it is an extremely tasty breakfast sandwich. The madame was good but the spicy mustard that is used has pockets that can make you grab your water when bitten into, so just be careful. The snickerdoodle was a slight let down, it was soft and chewy but had a very lemon taste, not really a fan of lemon in my sweet treats.
Delicious carrot cake! We ordered a whole Criminal Carrot Cake for a family event and everyone loved it! I will definitely come back and try their other food!
Amazing Place. Went for Sunday brunch and while it was busy, it was NOT overwhelming nor was the wait too long. Certified does a great job with it’s takeout-centric operation. Breakfast sandwiches were 5/5. Lunch Sandwich 4/5.
Coffee (roasted themselves) was better than 5/5!
