Simple rooms, they do the job. A little too pricey for said room. There are shops and restaurants around so that's a plus. The beds were clean. Our room had a chair cover with a white bedsheet.

Room is exactly what you pay for. Our bathroom ceiling was leaking due to the rain but bed was ok and room was clean. Cheap stay for a few nights to see a show and close to venues. Definitely walk over to the casa gamiño restaurant for dinner if you stay here, the food was so good.

I was in a position where I needed an affordable place to stay very last minute, and this motel was a lifesaver! It is a motel in a very noisy part of town. This is a no frills, very simple place. The armchairs and curtains have stains, the very thin carpet is old, and the bathroom sometimes smells a bit funky. You will hear the outside traffic very clearly. However, it's clean, they offer extended stays, the staff is very kind (they will clean once a week if you want, provide fresh towels/sheets/toiletries when needed), there are no bugs or pests, the A/C works, the water pressure is great, the bed is comfortable, and I never had any problems at all from the other guests. Everyone keeps to themselves. And the location is walking distance from a few different food options, one of which is open 24 hours. Highly recommend if you need a budget stay in the area

I was just staying for one night while on lay over and it was good for that.|Close to many food options and about five minutes from the airport but the plane noise isn't noticeable.|Big rooms and beds. I had no problems with the neighbourhood and felt fine walking around to get food when it was dark. |Down points are the bed was poorly made and I had to remake it and the TV and shower were hard to work.|The staff were really friendly and nice! |Good place for stop overs, would return

I chose this location on Airbnb not really aware that it is a motel room. Although it could be thought of as a "sketchy" area I had no issues during my entire stay- and that includes walking down the street to 7-11 near 11 pm. The room itself was very clean. There is a mini fridge and microwave in the room. A separate sitting area with a small table and 2 chairs. There is an additional vanity type area that is outside of the bathroom so that you can get ready, put on make up and fix your hair leaving the bathroom available if you're sharing the room. The only small thing that I'll mention is that you should bring electronics or some type of entertainment for yourself, the cable channels are seriously lacking. The majority of the channels seemed to be Spanish speaking only and I think they were religious themed. If you don't normally spend much time unwinding watching tv then this shouldn't be an issue for you at all. Lastly I'd like to mention Isaac the owner. A very kind man!! So helpful and gracious! If only everyone one comes in contact with were like him this world would definitely be an even better place!

État de la chambre douteux. La télévision ne fonctionnait pas et quand j'ai voulu la brancher sur un autre prise il y a eu une étincelle. Quartier qui laisse à désirer et isolation du bruit inexistante. Tarif excessivement élevé pour le service. Cela dépanne pour une nuit mais en cas d'urgence.

The smell is unpleasantly strong||- [ ] The wardrobe in the back bed room was unusable due to the smell||- [ ] The kitchen sink did not drain making cleaning dishes difficult||- [ ] There were no mugs, there were few utensils, the coffee machine did not work||- [ ] The bathroom didn’t have any towel racks- it made housing 6 people difficult even just for 3 nights as we had to share the 2 bathrooms and struggled for towel space||- [ ] Isaac, the landlord, tried to charge us for holding a fourth car despite the Airbnb advert saying we could park a fourth car||- [ ] Isaac requested a disproportionate amount of money after we checked out for stains on towels that were machine washable and dishes left in the sink. My expectation would be that the cleaning staff would be readily able to deal with what I would consider routine clean up. |

After checking in, while on the way to my room, I was chased down by the night manager telling me that my credit card (which had gone through but had a slightly different spelling of my name than my driver's license) could not be used. She demanded cash instead. After making the reservation through another website and confirming with that very credit card, I was not about to use my debit card or to pay in cash. It sounded like a scam to say the least. The night manager could barely speak English as well. Claims it is a non-smoking facility but the room reeked of cigarettes. The bedspread had holes in it. The mattress had to be decades old as it was like mush. If I had had another choice, I would have gone elsewhere, but there was really nothing available due to things happening in LA. The rate was very high for what amounts to a dump. I normally try to be kind in my reviews, but this one stands out in the negative. If you have another choice, go there. PS - They claim to have Internet, but was never provided with a password.
