BED was hard loud music all night people talking outside the window and doors. Second floor occupants walking back and forth all night long. They need to soundproof the windows do something to buffer the noise between the floors it was a horrible place
Was not impressed with this hotel at all. It has an old smell all throughout the hotel. The rooms are decent sized for one person, however the bathroom could’ve been much cleaner. There are holes and stains in the curtains. Lighting in the rooms are terrible. House keeping didn’t come after my first night stay. Construction was being done at 8am in the hallway and disrupted everyone’s sleep. I spoke with the front desk assistant and they weren’t any help at all. I do not recommend staying here whatsoever.
Hotel was extremely over priced for the amenities offered. Sheets in the room we're dirty, front office staff we initially dealt with was horrible, whole building reeked of smoke. We checked in about 8pm, dropped everything off, and then got back to the hotel about 2am after visiting with friends. The pullout bed our daughter was going to use was from the 80's, and the cot that was offered wasn't any better; neither were the sheets to go with it. They were also out of pillows. We finally decided we were wasting money and asked for a refund. The only good part of the entire night was the night manager's willingness to give a refund. We ended up driving across town at 3am to stay with friends. Do not waste your time or money with Magnuson Fossil Creek. For the area and the price you can do much better; any Motel 6 or Super 8 is a five star motel compared to this particular location.
The staff was exttemrly helpful and polite. They were especially helpful when I thought I had left my tablet there. And went out of their way to help me find it. I give them a thumbs up for sure. They even brought extra pillows to my room. Instead of me having to go to the front desk. I will return there again someday. Very nice staff. Room was clean.
All we needed was a clean bed, clean towels, and a clean shower...we were coming in late and leaving early. Didn't mind the 91 bucks for that after traveling in the car all day. NOT EVEN CLOSE.||||**Next door is a very loud bar with unsavory characters wandering around the parking lot of the hotel - headed towards the bar. The lady at the desk reminded us to lock our cars. ||||**In the first room they assigned us: the beds had been slept in and re-made and there were small black hairs in the shower and on the floor of the bathroom and the room smelled rank. ||||**Reluctantly, the hotel agreed to put us in another room. It did have clean sheets, and the bathroom had been cleaned but was old and moldy- as were the towels outdated and old. ||||**Believe it or not the toilet was about to fall through floor. We went downstairs to the lobby to use the toilet, it wobbled and creaked as though it were going to plummet to the next floor. I have pictures I'll attach.||||I wouldn't pay $39.99 for - nor should anyone else a hotel this run down. I have 2 kids and my 12-year-old daughter would not let go of my arm all night. ||||There are nicer, more respectable hotels in this area - it is not a bad area in general... just this particular hotel. ||||Now, booking.com says I must deal with the hotel for a price adjustment. Tried, they tell me to get with booking.com... ||||This is the last bit of time I'll spend messing around. Not worth my time!
It is a good value for the money you spend. Nice pool and hot tub. Free breakfast including waffles, pastries, cereal, yogurts, and some fruit. The rooms are dated but the king sized rooms have a couch with a hideaway bed. My only complaint is if you show on a website you offer cribs and playpens. You should probably have some. Lesson learned always call ahead. Also this hotel allows smoking in some of their rooms. There is a lot of bars within walking distance of the hotel. Nearby is nice restaurants.
Not a place i would stay again. Customer service is a huge factor with me. I tried to sympathize with the employee because there was an angry customer in front of her and a long line behind me, but some of the situation could have been avoided. Once telling the angry customer she would deal with her after she helped everyone else she engaged in conversation with the angry customer causing more tension. I tried to help calm the customer down and then the customer was willing to wait her turn or after everyone else was helped, but then the employee started with her again and at this point the customer became very loud and the employee evelated her voice as well. Online it advertised $72 and I paid $84 after I was told I would get the lower rate. It really bothered me that the person in front of me paid $72 in cash without a problem. I understand and I get it, it is only a $12 difference, but consistency and customer service is key. Once getting into the room the bathtub was not clean nor was the toilet seat. The refrigerator was super loud so I had to unplug it. There were broken tiles in the bathroom floor. This was not a good choice and I would strongly advise against anyone wanting to stay here. I checked out way before checkout time.
It's an okay Hotel...I've stayed other places that was cheaper and was better. It didn't smell! So that was good. As soon as we walked in, it was hot, went to our room it was hot. It wasn't dirty, but could have used a little scrubbing in the bathroom. Our shower didn't work, did have a shower head ,but no pulley thing for the shower. The Hotel is near plenty of restaurants!
