The Centralia Hotel gets points for its charm and authenticity. There's a lot to love about its historic interior and desire to maintain its charm.||Where it loses points is in terms of overall comfort and the availability of its staff. While they're proudly family-run, this tended to translate into a lack of support on-site, especially during the wedding we attended at the venue.||Having a regularly attended front desk, some kind of breakfast option, and improved bathroom facilities would all go a long way.
I checked out this recently remodeled hotel after having brunch at Berry Fields restaurant. (This is adjacent to the first floor of the hotel.) What I saw on the first floor was quite nice! :)
I recommend that the first floor restrooms be remodeled, though, as they appeared worn out, and the paint job was tacky.
Aside from that, I would assume the rest of this venue is lovely based on the photos. I wasn't a hotel guest, so I didn't ask to tour the rest of the building
I would just like to say that Cheri is a FANTASTIC host!
The room was beautiful and CLEAN which is the MOST IMPORTANT part of staying in a hotel. I personally loved that there is no TV in the room because it creates a authentic feeling in staying in a historic hotel.
The location is perfect for walking around and enjoying the "old town". If you are a light sleeper make use of the provided earplugs because you can hear the train....but to me that is part of the charm!
Very seldom do you get to soak in a true iron clawfoot tub....its so relaxing so be sure to take the time to enjoy that...maybe bring some bubbles!
Thank you for keeping the beautiful hotel relevant to todays life. Stepping back in time is something we seldom get a chance to do. We enjoyed it immensely!
This experience far exceeded my expectations!! I absolutely loved the vintage feel of the period restoration room and building. I got an excellent night sleep both nights (comfy bed). Would definitely come again.
1920's atmosphere, Well kept, served our families function very well, Dance Floor Grand BallRoom w/Stage, Balcony over the BallRoom entrance, Kitchen, Restrooms available to your guests, Antique Suits, Clawfoot Tubs, Done Showers in individual Rooms, For quest with no Lav's a Men's & Women's Toilet centered in the middle of the Floor Levels with a Single separate Shower.
I came to town for my friend's wedding, her ceremony was in the ballroom in the hotel and we stayed in a room upstairs.
first, my expectations weren't super high, the pricepoint is modest but fair for the time of year. I was impressed with the level of service and comfort at this hotel. Our room was beautiful and spotless, the windows were big and we got lots of light in the morning (which I love), but we also had perfect black out curtains (which my partner loves). My friend's wedding was absolutely beautiful, and went off perfectly.
This is a wonderful place to stay for a little and rest, and a perfect venue for any celebration!
Travel back in time! Wow, what a preservation of history. The rooms are clean, cozy, and comfy. An in-room sink is all you need. Loved the windows that opened to allow airflow and the sounds of the town. The beds were comfortable as well! Bathrobes provided in each room serve as a terrific touch.
Located in town and everything is close by and walkable. Breakfast and lunch available at Berry Field's Café & dinner and drinks available at The Branch, an affordable steakhouse style pub. Thank you for the hospitality!

Last night a friend and I went to the Orent Express, we love classic Agatha Christy! This play was very good! In fact, it was most likely the best play I have been to at the Evergreen Playhouse! The actors did a fabulous job! I believe it stirred the
Cleanest place we've ever stayed at. The host/management(Maybe owner)was extremely helpful, accommodating and nicest guy ever. Can't recommend this place enough..
Only one Karen popped up a couple times, feels she owns the place lol (4 Lassie dogs),
Was our first time here for the Pickleball 2022 Veterans Day Classic. There was a total of 12 courts and they also had an indoor softball field and a restaurant. They had lots of super helpful volunteers that make sure the pickleball keeps getting bi
Found this place when we needed a place to wait while waiting for AAA to unlock our vehicle. I ordered a fish sandwich and it was delicious and I was so pleased that the salad had romaine lettuce instead of iceberg. The food was good enough that I wi

The best Chinese food we have had in a long time! Two of the places we frequented closed their doors or had changed their chefs. This one we found while we were in the area shopping. So delighted we found them! The atmosphere was inviting, clean, qui
Friendly staff and a nice casual environment. Family friendly. Bone-in wings were big, crispy, and sauced well. The Original and the Parmesan garlic were two very good sauce options. Nachos were pretty good. The tortilla chips were light and crunchy.
