I enjoyed my experience here! I give overall 4 stars because of the wait... when we first entered, no one sat us for a few minutes so we understood the busyness but once we ordered and received our appetizer, we had to wait before eating to ask for utensils. Yet, Every thing was very delicious!! I hope to attend again.
Wonderful place and great food. Server was awesome and food was prepared exactly the way I ordered it. Which is rare when it comes to steak for me. Will be going back when I'm in Starkville again.
Food was decent. Service was poor and the automatic 20% gratuity was the icing on the cake. No wonder our service was poor. This was for a family of 6.
Sat down, drink order taken, bring drinks, take order, bring salads, no silverware. Sat there looking at our salads for at least 5 minutes, pretty sure it was close to 10. Waitress walked past table once while seating another table but didn't look. Finally a manager noticed and brought silverware. Food came out, but not by our waitress. I finally had to get her attention to get a refill. That's the only time she came to our table until she brought ticket. A ticket with 20% gratuity added before tax. Then, when she brought my change back, she only brought the bills, not the change so she got that too. I usually tip decent, but don't force me to!
Spent $55 + and got trash food. Did order take out but did not expect this disappointment. My medium rare steak came well done, and loaded mashed potatoes not even the size of an ice cream scoop. My chicken was cold and soggy even though it had only been 10 minutes since my update notification that it was done. This was absolutely awful and it was my favorite restaurant in town (past tense).
Central station grill is one of my all time favorite restaurants. The spring rolls and cheese sticks are always perfect. The bayou chicken (fried) is something sent straight from the heavens. The shrimp and grits were superb (although I had a slight preference to the old recipe but still good)! The renovations are spectacular, the service is always immaculate. You cannot beat the central station grill!!
On our last night in Starkville we chose Central Station Grill for dinner and what an excellent choice it was. Our wait was about 30 minutes which was not bad considering it was packed when we arrived. After we were seated the gentleman that I had spoken to when we entered came to our table and introduced himself (Cody - GM) and asked where we were from and the reason for our visit to Starkville. I explained we were there for our son's campus visit and he highly encouraged him to chose MSU as he was an alumni. Before he left for the night he introduced us to Chef Leon which was a delight to meet. He recommended the Chicken & Shrimp Pontchartrain and it was amazing. Thank you to both of these men for making us feel welcomed to Starkville. We will definitely be back on our next trip in a few months for orientation.
Meh…..
Service was great from the bar to the table was courteous and prompt. However, we were told there would be no modifications to any menu items. Something as simple as not putting chives on my loaded potato. Weird.
The steak was not a $32 steak, the baked potato wasn’t cooked all the way through, and my 12 year old son even said the mashed potatoes weren’t that great.
Again, the service was great. The atmosphere was even really good. But I wouldn’t come back for the food.
The cleanliness and service definitely great. The reason I gave 4 stars is because the menu wasn’t very vegetarian friendly. Almost everything had meat and if you removed the meat still full price. Even the SPRING ROLLS had meat.
My vegetarian aunt loved the seasonal vegetables.
The white bbq chicken nachos appetizer is very good and worth sharing

This place is amazing for both drinks and food! Bartender/waitress was super nice and helpful, and this mozz pita had the best carmelized cheese ever. Patty Melt Panini was fantastic.
Came in town to celebrate our MSU grad and discovered this gem! We arrived at 10:30 AM in the mood for a hearty breakfast and Arepas did not disappoint!! The guys each enjoyed 2 Mañaneras and a Rumbera! I ordered a gluten free Good Morning with slic
Clean bathrooms with plenty of stalls for women. Good views of the field from majority of the seats. Usually easy to get a seat ( unless Oklahoma visiting). Get there early enough and you get to see how they chalk the lines.
This place serves the best tacos and the best central American food in Starkville. One bite of their mouthwatering tortas and you would immediately have an explosion of flavors in your mouth. This gem of a place is located on 182 right across the roa
It's well kept and an asset to the community. They need to open the new parking. I thought it wasn't open; but when I left the fields the other day, the cones had been moved and people parked there. Still a great place!
These were the BEST donuts! Their cinnamon twist delicious!!! The ladies behind the counter were so friendly and nice...I can't wait for my next trip down to Starkville!!
From the time we exited our vehicle we were struck by the sleek decor and pristine atmosphere. Our server presented a menu of delicacies that admittedly evoked mouth watering. We ordered water and a sampler platter of appetizers plus a vegan meatball
Great living place, always quick maintenance with anything Iâve ever needed fixed. Itâs quiet and peaceful. All neighbors keep to themselves and are quiet and friendly in passing. A lot of friendly people and dogs at the onsite dog park. Pool is
It's pretty alright. It's your standard dog park. Our dog personally enjoys when there's all sorts of other dogs around. I was surprised how busy it got at the end of the day.
