If I could give those 0 stars it still would not satisfy me. I booked for a month stay and arrived at 11:30 that night. I hated it, the room smelled and there were people loitering outside til around 4 in the morning. It's definitely in a bad neighborhood. And the management is awful. I wanted a refund after 2 says if staying there for the rest of the days I was not going to stay there. They had "claimed" that they had a no refund policy after check-in, but it was not stated on paper or writing anywhere. Huge scam. I would encourage sleeping in your car over getting a room here. There was also hair all over the "clean" towels and a thick layer of dust on top of the bed. ||||To reiterate, DO NOT stay at the Central Inn Motel on 88th street in South Los Angeles.

I would rate this hotel, mainly the management 0 stars if I could. My bf was paying for the room for the second night & was asked to provide ID (not an issue, but we weren’t asked this the first night & paid with the same card to the same guy, so my bf asked why) management became very hostile asking if this was an issue.. we explained no & were completely taken aback by the way management was acting. He then made a sly comment about how he didn’t want to rent to us again anyways.... so frustrated, we asked to speak to a manager. He then tells us he is the manager & that the room is booked. Completely confused because we were just about to pay for another night, we ask if we can see verification of this as now we feel as if we are being discriminated against. He cannot show us & we ask for another room, then he tells us we have stayed too long (it was only 2 days) & the hotel offers weekly rates?? Pretty sure management is racist. We found a great, cheaper, cleaner room with smoking just down the street. Would not recommend.

We thought we try a cheaper option as we are on a longer trip through the US. It was a big mistake. First of all, the door of our room was completely open. The room was just filthy. I do not understand how this motel was any good reviews. The towels were dirty, the walls as well. The shower mouldy. We looked under the covers of the bed, since we actually considered staying here since we booked non refundable via booking.com and already payed the motel. More disgustingness under the sheets. Hair, and just a gross looking mattress. ||||One plus, we got our money back and just paid 20 bucks for messing up the sheets. ||||I would highly recommend to pay a couple bucks more and look for a different accommodation.

The stay was awesome, met a lot of people and the manager said that in one of the rooms, there would be free sex. The best night of my life. I got aids but it was totally worth it. The showers had really sticky floors, don't know why, maybe lots of cum. Didn't taste that good.

Au niveau de la chambre : je ne vous conseille pas de vous pencher pour regarder sous le lit car la propreté n'est pas au rendez-vous. La salle de bain est relativement propre mais dans un état très moyen (mobilier vieux je pense), les toilettes sont tout de même propre. Notre couette n'avait pas été changé car nous avons retrouvé l'étiquette de voyage du précédent occupant.||||Au niveau du quartier : comment dire..c'est un quartier très pauvre, il y a des sans-abri dans toutes les rues. Le soir je déconseille de rentrer tard, ça craint ! Quand on se levait le matin certaines voitures n'avaient plus de fenêtres, les voitures sont toutes abîmés enfaîte.||||Cette auberge n'a absolument pas l'ambiance auberge de jeunesse, aucune salle commune..l'ambiance est froide, très très froide !!

The hotel manager is incompetent. I repeatedly asked for my room to be cleaned, which never got done. The rooms are filthy. Some of the microwaves and AC/Heaters dont work. One microwave started smoking & shooting sparks from the internal compartment. They never have clean towels. There are stains & gang writing on the walls. And, the electricity went out for a full day & the staff didnt know how to reset the breakers, causing our food to spoil. This place isn't even worth staying in for free. My wife got a bad bruise on her thigh from bumping in to the dresser because we had no light to see. The manager was completely unsympathetic when addressing the issues, threatening to evict us WITHOUT a refund if we complained again.

The towels were not clean, and the bed had wheels which was really annoying as it kept moving away from the wall. The wifi however worked fine and had decent speed. The TV was also working, and there was a microwave. If the cleaning was better, I would have rated 3 stars.
