Center of the Hills - Shopping mall in Austin - 7010 State Hwy 71, USA

Went at the perfect time! Hardly any shoppers on a Friday early evening. The store is still super clean! They need to train their baggers better though. This has always been an issue, really the only issue with HEB. She was going to put apples on top of my grapes. They have a hard time remembering the insulated bags are for frig and freezer stuff as well. It's an uphill battle for sure, but HEB is THE BEST grocery store around regardless.

I was at the open air center for my Physical therapy appointment at ATI. I had no trouble parking, in spite of construction of a large structure at one end of the center that previously housed a grocery store. The driving area of the center's lot guides the traffic with lanes and stop signs.

Love HEB, I would be lost without them.

Fair to good Goodwill store. Orderly display of clothes and different but similar items. They have shrunk the books, CD/DVD area and expanded the children's toys..Goodwill apparently has adopted the energy conservation policies/platform by decreasing the AC output making the store's temperature a little higher than comfortable and the air feels stagnant. Makes for a shorter shopping experience for some I would think.

My neighborhood HEB. Has a good variety of products. Small enough to get in and out of fast but can get full on busy days. No sushi bar at this one and can't get gas.

I really like this HEB but my wife and I have an on going joke that really isn't funny but has become so true. So, everytime we go to check out, the people in front of us get there groceries bagged by an HEB employee and then when it's our turn they walk away...EVERY TIME. The funny part (well, not really) is they all stand around and talk while we're here bagging $200.00 worth of stuff. It's a bit unprofessional to he honest. But sadly, I already know that it's going to happen each time. Today, there were 5 employees standing in front of the exit talking and blocking the way out. How come none of them could help bag? Going forward, I'm just going to ask them for help. Rosalia did help bag which was much appreciated.

Great HEB store. Don't recommend shopping on a Sunday though. Whew! Super long lines, but one of the best stores in town.

I'm not so sure it is the "Center of the Hills". It seems like we are kinda on the edge, right? But I like it. I like my HEB. I like my Firestone. Petco is Petco. I'm sure the rest of the shops are nice, too, but I've never had occasion to frequent them.
