Plenty of parking to hop on the river's paved path...but rain cut us short today. Go under the bridge for a brief rain but it wasn't short rain today!

Very relaxing place to just sit and take in the view of the river. Not many cities have a river running through them like spokane does. So i hope anyone reading this just takes a few moments to just admire the scenery and drown out the craziness of 2020.

Long, flat, non strenuous bicycle path. Hopped on central Spokane, all the way to Coeur d'Alene and back. 90ish miles.

Great spot to walk. We took our dog for a 3 mile walk and had a good time. Nice trail with great views of the water.

This is a great place to begin a hike on the trail. There's also areas you can use as a swim hole and get some good swimming in for the day. This is a beautiful area. You do need to be cautious of transient folks now but it's pretty much everywhere.

It's a nice little stop, but the super bumpy, gravel parking lot is a drag. Especially in the fall, winter months. But easy access to the trail. By foot or wheeled

Beautiful scenery going either direction on the trail from here. Great launch point for floating or kayaking the Spokane River, cross the bridge to the north side. Fast flow and some rapids May into July, use appropriate gear.
