Took a long walk along the lakefront to the peninsula at Northwestern University campus. Do you know mice live among the colorful rocks at the lake shore? Got some good pictures of the critter.
My favorite Rock beach. Today really windy and snowing. Bigger waves.locted by Northwestern medicine University. Small beach and nice walking trail.
Really nice park but a residents-only dog beach, so if you are a visitor there is nothing you can do to access it.
This park is great as it is right by the lake and there are public restrooms available. There is also a place to lock your bike.
This is a great park with a great view. Took my girlfriend on a motorcycle ride and we stopped here for a breath of fresh air. The view is awesome and not too many people. If you want to relax and have fun, this is a good place. The beach is great too.

My favorite waterfront park location. Parking is good, public restrooms are always available, you can buy some drinks and snacks over there too and enjoy your time. A really long path for walkers and bicycle riders with great views, you can literally walk/ride your bike there for an hour or so. There is also a dog beach available. You should experience this place for sure!
Beautiful. Right on Lake Michigan! Walk/bike/run paths. There's a lagoon with ducks. There's a place to grill, if you so choose. Plenty of parking. $3/hr for non-Evanton city sticker holders. I will definitely return. Loved it!!
Scenic views place where you want to spend time alone and think about solutions or inspiration. The mile way walk by the beach hand in hand sounds romantic..a must visit place when you are sad or a bad mood.
Very nice playground! Simple and with lots of options for creativity. The kids love the climbing wall! I love that! I can see all the kids at the same time from one spot; there is great visibility. There is a wheelchair accessible square picnic table
