My husband and I just returned from a wonderful stay at Centennial House. The staff went out of their way to make my birthday getaway extra special, from the complimentary sparkling wine in our room, to the reserved “best seat in the house” breakfast table with birthday banner. The breakfasts they prepare in house are so delicious, you will not be disappointed. We especially loved the many varieties of fresh baked cookies every day. My husband also was happy to have a lovely red wine in the living area, and cream sherry in our bedroom. The location is convenient to the historic area - shopping and restaurants. The price was very reasonable for all that was offered. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and can’t say enough about the welcoming staff.
Our room was a great size and the staff was so helpful and accommodating. They are mindful of and equipped to feed and cook for people with gluten issues. We appreciated that the location is close enough to walk to everything in historic downtown, but not in the middle of all the crowds. Delicious breakfast both mornings we were there and lots of different cookie flavors. We peeked in some other rooms and they looked great too. On site parking was another plus.
We recently stayed at the inn and had a wonderful time. The location is great within walking distance to everything in the historic district. Handsome cabs clip-clop by every night. Our room was comfortable and the staff incredibly friendly and helpful. They were very attentive to my husband who has celiac and cooked delicious breakfasts. Marcia even baked him gluten free cookies. We loved it and would definitely stay there again.
For our Christmas gift, I got my mom & I a stay here for a little getaway. Researched & this Bed & Breakfast kept popping up with amazing reviews at such a great price. It is such a quaint & cozy place, that makes you feel right at home. From the moment we checked in, Jess, her mom & the chef were so friendly & and welcoming! They greeted us with a glass of wine & fresh baked cookies. Our room was adorable, very comfortable bed, robes in the bathroom & everything you may need. I am Celiac & the breakfast each morning was tailored to my needs & so delicious!! So many little touches to make our stay feel so special. Did I tell you how friendly the staff was, just AMAZING!! Lastly, you couldn’t ask for a better LOCATION!!! We walked to everywhere & only needed the car when we checked-out. We will definitely be back! Just book this place, you will not be disappointed :)
My wife and I thoroughly loved our stay at the Centennial House Bed and Breakfast! The entire staff was very friendly and went out of their way to make our stay an enjoyable one. Our room was very clean and well maintained. Their homemade breakfasts were just delicious. Our stay also included free cookies, wine, water and soda. We look forward to our next visit!!
This was our first stay and will not be our last. Service is top notch. Everything was so romantic. Extremely private, very clean.If you are looking to be spoiled this is the perfect getaway stay. Downtown activities are all within walking distance. Breakfast was amazing. Wine 🍷 was provided all night and fresh baked goods. I highly recommend staying here you won’t be disappointed.
Went with my mom as a mother daughter trip. Was amazing, super great location walking distance from everything. They were super helpful in recommendations and they were willing to do whatever they can to make us have a great trip. Amazing breakfast it’s perfect amount and not basic. They had cute details that many B&B do not have and that made the stay great and easier. They had amazing cookies and drinks that you can help yourself to, and items to grab if you forgotten anything at home. The staff was amazing and they made us feel like family which made leaving so hard which I never felt that way before. Rooms were so nice and clean. The staff there is amazing and they made the trip so wonderful. For sure coming back to visit!
Immediately upon arrival Jess welcomed us and made us feel at home. She was very accommodating and even sent in champagne for my birthday. She gave us detailed information about how things ran as well as recommendations on what to do in town. The breakfast was good and the staff was overall accommodating and welcoming. We will stay here again.
