Amazing food, tremendous service! Everything on the menu is world-class. Staff is very knowledgeable of what they are serving, and they make you feel like family.appetizers are top-notch!!!
This restaurant is hands down in the top 3 restaurants that I have ever dined in. I don’t know what military base they found the Chefs and waiters but you are doing your self a disservice if you have not visited. Okay, buckle in.
Beginning with the service. As a disclaimer, I am a regular who has never left a review anywhere so this place really moved me. I had one of the best waiters ever, Drake. Along with him, and the other servers, you will have an unforgettable dining experience.
What I love most about Cena is the care that that have for their customers from the moment you walk in. So now to the food.
Starting with the appetizer, fried shrimp sat on top of a bacon slab with Chilean honey glaze — 10/10. When I say I hate when shrimp appetizers don’t fill me up but this one almost made me reconsider stopping my food order. You really get what you pay for because the portion was so filling.
Cocktail hour: espresso martini and pumpkin spice martini. And for all you pumpkin haters stop right here because this is wa ls amazing. Perfectly well balanced and great. Now, I will say for the pumpkin martini if you are looking for a dessert, order it at the end of your meal. However, both drinks 10/10.
Dinner: I ordered the soft shell crab stuffed with seafood shrimp polenta and topped with a crawfish cream sauce along side broccolini and roasted tomatoes and a side of cranberry glaze. This was the taker. Everything was so well balanced.
The overall meal left me feeling so satisfied and satiated. I didn’t feel bloated at all and as a regular to this restaurant, I am floored at the consistency in the staff and the treatment of all people. It’s such a friendly dining experience and atmosphere.
If you are looking for a great night out, look no further. Chance, the owner, I’d exceptional and visits every table. Do yourself a favor and come.
What an absolutely disgusting meal there is nothing Italian about this place
the supposed gumbo was burnt, the spaghetti and meatballs was watery and spicy. The cannelloni was gummy, The veal was Crusted with some kind of breading but there was no flavor in the meat.
The waitress even admitted the cook is not Italian.
After two visits, it's safe to say that Cena has set the bar for expectations in the hammond area. Both a calm, relaxing weekday night or a busy holiday Friday evening. Staff are constantly attending to patrons with great attention and speed.
The atmosphere is fantastic and decor is well placed. Romantic date, small get-together, large party. Cena can handle it.
The daily specials are amazing and the staff are very detailed with each dish. There has yet to be a complaint towards food or service.
We will most definitely be returning for many future dinners.
Finally went to Cena last night - and was not dissapointed. We got lucky and scored an inside table with no reservation right before the dinner rush. We started with a watermelon martini and an old fashioned. Neither of us are drink conisseurs but found both to be good. We ordered the fried caciocavallo to start. It's fried cheese. It's not going to blow you away, but it won't hurt your feelings. The included chili sauce - a little goes a long way. The honey is there but for my tastes I'd liked it to be a little more prominent - but overall it was a good starter. I had the pork osso bucco and it was excellent. The pork fell from the bone easily but still maintained great texture and was not mushy. Was perfectly flavorful and when combined with the risotto made for an excellent comfort food experience. My girlfriend had the shrimp and grits and this was one of the few times she has ever cleaned a plate. She was a big fan. We finished up with a couple of night caps. Mine was an Italian coffee. It was warm, sweet, and great for sipping over conversation. Service was very attentive and friendly. We'll be back.
The restaurant smelled when we walked in. Waited several minutes to be seated as we watched the bartender play on his phone. He didn’t realize we were standing there and did apologize when he finally looked up from his phone.
Ordered the crab claws for an appetizer and it was good. We also ordered a side Caesar salad as a starter. Several bites into the salad, I noticed a dead roach in my salad. This was very unsettling. I showed it to our server and she took the plate to the back and showed the manager. The manager did not come to the table to address it. The server apologized and said they were all in the back investigating how roaches got into their lettuce. No accommodations were offered apart from removing the salad from the ticket.
Other than that, the mains (redfish) were pretty good but we were looking at every bite to make sure we didn’t see any antennas or legs anywhere. We won’t be back due to the roach situation.
Food, service, and atmosphere is excellent. The fish of the day is always fantastic! This is one of our go to spots in Hammond. Chance and his staff always strive to make your dining experience memorable.
Truly incredible. This place is a must-visit. The pork osso buco was so tender and juicy that you didn't even need a knife. The bed of parmesan risotto was good (but nothing special) UNTIL you combined it with the pork, marrow, and sauces. Then it became more than just a symphony... it became a true philharmonic experience on the taste buds. The pork, marrow, gremolata, pesto, marinara, and risotto all complimented each other flawlessly. It was melt-in-your-mouth perfection. The tiramisu for dessert was very light and good, but ultimately underwhelming. Next time I will try a different dessert. Cena is an experience that you shouldn't miss out on.
What a great place to grab some food!!! The staff was so friendly. They let us try samples before we bought our food. We're from Arizona and never had Louisiana food. This place is delicious. Definitely stop in, if your in the area.
This place is absolutely amazing! The waitress was awesome and very attentive and the food was to die for! I hate spinach and artichoke dip, but there's is sooooooo good! I highly recommend the sweet pizza sauce and the meaty spaghetti. Definitely 5
We love Streetside. We are local and if we decide to go out to eat, 95% of the time it's Streetside. My husband and daughter can get sushi and I can get my favorite won ton soup and pizza. Their drinks are good and the atmosphere is relaxing and nic
Third time here. Easily one of my favorite restaurants on the North Shore. I am always amazed that Hammond has such a gem of a restaurant. I can totally appreciate the historic story of this establishment. Service was great. The Jacmel 75 drink was
Didn't spend time inside the main bar area. I attended a Queer North shore Meetup event and we hung out across the street. I believe that is where the food area is. I was there on a Wednesday evening and the kitchen isn't open Monday through Wednesda

I was told about this store from a fellow crafter that told me I had to go check them out. I love this store! It is a stone, mineral, rock lovers dream. There is so much to pick from. I feel I could spend an entire day looking at all the selection
Calm, quiet, leisurely shopping visit. The young woman on staff offered me a free coffee with cream and sugar ð¥°. News to me, they sell coffee beans and grind them up for you. The coffee was good btw lol. Clean shop. Whimsical feel. Garden acces
