Came here for lunch, first time in the establishment and was ecstatic over the food, atmosphere and service. I ordered the chicken fried steak with onions rings and a tea. First off they warn you in the description this will feed 2 normal people and they were not kidding at all! The fact the serving was large is only part of what makes this a great choice; the gravy, breading and meat had had great flavor. The onion rings were hand made and tasted amazing! The server was fast and attentive keeping our glasses full without interrupting our conversation. The atmosphere was simply outstanding, the vibe was definitely a pub!!!

READ CAREFULLY... First time customer, have driven by location on numerous occasions, saw full parking lot but never stopped. As a first time customer, was not aware that this was a "seat yourself" establishment, so kind of felt like an idiot for standing at entry and not having a server or bartender acknowledge us, especially when they passed us no less than a half-dozen times before we sat ourselves. Our server was polite and cordial, not overly energetic, but definitely positive. In watching server staff interact with customers, it was clear that the "known customer crowd" received better attention and service that the unknown (or not regulars), that was really disappointing to see. I have always enjoyed local brew pubs, so having not been here before, I inquired about their local made beer and was disappointed to receive very limited feedback and/or encouragement. My son and I chose the "ESB" which turned out to be an incredible choice, probably in my top five in over twenty years! My son ordered the mushroom/swiss burger and I ordered the gyros - both plates were OUTSTANDING. My gyro meat was great, hot, fresh pita, vegetables were seriously still crisp and ice-cold, making our lunch very tasty. We both had the onion rings and found them to be crisp, hot, and not greasy - very impressed. Now here is where we got frustrated and why I gave low overall mark. This review would have been 5 stars HOWEVER the rating is low in response to the price of their beer. Keep in mind, there is no doubt, this brew pub is making money, but there prices for a 64 ounce growler was $22 for beer $18 for root-beer and NO OPTION for purchasing bottled beer. I purchased without checking prices, and that is on me. This establishment could truly make more profit and sell more product by lowering those prices and considering a bottled option, especially given their location and limited competition. We would return to eat and drink again, but disappointed at owners choosing to have high prices.

Yes I’ve eaten here A Lot recently …..My my my! Where to start?! Visited here back-to-back. Just spot on Delicious each time! AND going to go back to try more menu items. The drinks were perfect …Irish mule, Irish car bond. The giant potato was fantastic. The clam chowder was loaded with clams. The pizzas were cooked perfect. Fish & chips YUM.. not greasy at all! The deserts are Amazing. The chicken fried steak is the largest I’ve ever seen and the Best! I love love the atmosphere, it has the old tavern feel. Everyone is talking and cheerful. I feel happy to have found this little spot, you should most definitely try it too. Prices very reasonable.

First visit and will return. The reason for the four stars instead of five was due to a very rude employee(she’s in one of the photos in pink jacket), she has no business working in the restaurant! We ordered three dozen oysters, and they are the best I’ve ever tasted. We tried several of the craft beers and each one had a great taste. Our server was Sara(Manager) and she was great! I left her a 30% percent tip due the her exceptional service. Food came out fresh and hot, and restaurant was clean and well maintained. Great staff except for one rude employee, and glad she didn’t wait on us. If you go to dine, make sure you avoid the waitress in the photo. The wall decor is great and they Brewer their on beers in the back. To the owner, if it wasn’t for your manager you would have lost our business tonight and going forward. You have a great restaurant, so I’m confused why you have such a rude waitress.

I have no idea how all of Sherman recommended this place. We went for the food (I’m sure the alcohol or beer is good) because it was so hyped up to us. First off I couldn’t find the bathroom and instead of showing me one of the waitresses had an attitude saying it was on the other side of the restaurant, okay. Second when we got our food I thought it was a joke. My salad was like a salad from a Walmart grab and go bag. My pasta had so much water in it. It was awful. Dominos oven pasta is better than that and it’s sad. My husbands meal was okay. He said the sandwich was good but the fries tasted like they came straight from the freezer with no seasoning. I figured I would just take my food to go so I could drain the pasta and add seasoning. As we were leaving I forgot to grab my food because I was already annoyed with this whole situation. My husband goes back to grab it, mind you it hasn’t even been a minute yet and they told him they threw it away. We didn’t get offered a refund or partial refund. Not a let me remake it. Not an I’m sorry. Literally nothing. Mind you I tipped over 20% even with all of this happening. The food is extremely overpriced. They also charge .99 cents per ranch without even telling you. I will NEVER go back here and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. The food must only be good if you’re drunk.

Best Bar in North East Texas!!! Me and my husband had our first date there in 2009 and have ate their monthly since. * recent visit today they changed their pizza we love so much it had no flavor!! What did you change and why???? Crust was different and cheese tasted like nothing.

The food was okay. I got potato skins, but they were over done and not filled very much. My daughter got Oysters Rockefeller and seemed to like it. We both got Bahama Mama's to drink. Not much alcohol in it. Tasted good, though. It took a while for a server to acknowledge us and to get our drinks, but she was friendly.
