This hotel is the worst! Even the receptionist too. They're not friendly and they just cancelled our reservation just because our arrival was delayed because of the weather and they didn't even bother to contact us. When we arrived they just said that it's cancelled and they even didn't responsible and just shoo us.
And we tried to contacted the website where we booked and try to get a refund but this hotel even didn't answer their phone when the customer care from the website tried to call.
But we were so glad it cancelled because the hotel's conditions are way worse than the pictures here. Even the hotel's lobby smells like piss!
From the holes in the comforter to the mold in the bathroom, this not a place to stay! Could not turn the shower faucet on. No coffee in the room. Plastic mattress cover on the bed. I reserved this for 2 nights and only stayed one because I had no choice. I would not recommend to anyone! Looked like live in junkies outside smoking too! Ugh the worst!!
Positive: The staff are very friendly ! Negative: Too noises in the nigh. .( Constructions people are staying in there, they came late in the night, and left earlier .)
Room was a bit rough- but Its an old property. we just needed a place to sleep. the GM who checked me in Friday 6/16 around 2-3PM was great!! very nice & helped me cut down my stay by 1 night when our concert was cancelled. Property was quiet and we had a nice stay being close to all the stuffs. Thank you!!
My stay at the Cedars Inn in Lewiston has been excellent. The staff are super friendly and accommodating, depending on your need. It's an older motel, but everyone does their best to make sure it's clean and safe. Decent price for the area, right next to several gas stations and fast food. Would definitely recommend.
Filthy dirty, had bad expectations from the reviews and this place lived up to all of them. BED BUGS no joke. Pay the higher prices at other establishments you will thank yourself. If you dare try though you will realize right when you walk in the rooms. RUN!
I am not happy with my experience with this hotel. We were staying there for 2 nights. Not only was the door broken/unsecure and missing a lock. But our keys stopped working after the first night when trying to fix it the office was closed with a note to call a number if we needed immediate help. I'd figure my injured mom and I needing to get into our room after a long day of work would be considered immediate help so I called the number they left on the sign. No answer but the lady came around shortly afterwards to tell me not to even call that number because if that sign is up "they will be back soon anyway so there's not much reason to" ok not sure why the number is on the sign then but whatever no big deal.. tried to get the keys fixed and couldn't my mom had to because she checked in.. then we were told by the maintenance guy that "this always happens with the keys" if we would have known that 1. we had to get the keys renewed every day we could have been prepared and 2. if I couldn't change it I wouldn't have made my mom wait by the door to get them fixed.. I understand safety precautions but a heads up would have been awesome especially if they knew it was a problem. The bathrooms need some work done there were huge holes around the bathtub/wall it looked like you could easily break through the wall and the toilet was loose. There was a strong cigarette smell which isn't uncommon in old hotels but was still unpleasant. There weren't any actual blankets only the thin under blanket and the gross bead covers so when our heater went out.. yes you read that right. Our heat also went out and made an awful noise our second night so we had no heat and not much for blankets. The bar on the other side of the fence has incredibly loud patrons as well, both nights we stayed someone on a motorcycle made sure everyone in the area heard them which isn't the hotels fault but definitely something you'll want to know if you want to get any sleep or stay asleep on a business trip in the area. All and all we paid a lot to not get much sleep not have heat the second night etc. not the WORST hotel I've been to but definitely not one of the good hotels I've been to either. They have some problems they need to fix.
The staff was very helpful and kind and considerate, but the actual facility is in need of repair and the interior was dirty. The bed sheets were clean but everything in the place with either sticky carpets were gross door handles, scummy sinks and counters and floors in the bathroom sticky. Anyway, it's a great location but need some attention
