Cedar River BBQ - Barbecue restaurant in Renton - 304 Wells Ave S, USA

It was suggested by my friend to check it out because o want BBQ. It is on expensive side. I got sandwich special with chop pork, seasoned fries, and a can of soda. You ordered on the tablet. They bring food to our table. I selected medium and spicy bbq sauce. The spicy was not spicy at first but it did kick it after. The chop pork was not dry and it was moist. It was not too salty. The bbq sauce was on the watery side. I do like Sweet Ray BBQ sauce the best. The buns was good. My friend like her pork ribs and potatoes salad. It was just table for very early dinner. The service was good. He came to check on us.

Great food... not that many decent bbq joints around here but this one definitely stands out. Fries were a perfect crispy texture but I personally prefer a little less salt seasoning. Everyone was very friendly and attentive but the food does take a little long... it took me about 20 minutes to get my brisket sandwich and there were only 2 people ahead of me.

Very excellent bbq 👍 Good food , had a brisket sandwich and found the owner himself behind the counter. Was passing through the area for work and had to go find the great smell lighting up half the neighborhood. Grabbed some bread pudding otw out , darn good stuff as well. Clean dining room & quick ordering, friendly staff. Definitely recommended & glad to support a mom n pop business, 5 stars well earned. If you want to whine about ordering on a tablet because the crew is busy working their tail off short handed in the kitchen ... then go back to the dumpster behind McDs where you came from and get yourself a different 'therapist'. Prices are reasonable for healthy portions, good people , good food. Period. Be skeptical of bad 'reviews' likely planted by the competition in the area 🤨

We ordered brisket, sandwiches and sides. Food flavor was fantastic but do NOT order delivery or takeout if you don’t see what you get. I am from Texas have never had cuts they served us. We spent $160 on food and the 1lb of brisket given to us was more than 50% fat with no meat even on it. Who the hell serves pure fat! I also ordered the cedar river sandwich, and it was mostly chunks of fat also with no spicy Cajun link included. Update - I was contacted by management immediately after this post to rectify this. We were reimbursed for was wrong, they sincerely apologized and asked to give them another shot. We will go in to try them and update again.

This place has by far the best BBQ in Seattle, Washington. We have been to countless BBQ places from around the US, including Texas, Memphis, Kanses City, and St. Louis. Cedar River BBQ, have really put the smoke and flavor into every thing they have made. My roots being from St. Louis, and my husbands being from Texas, we came together on one accord at this place. WE Highly recommend it.

We love Cedar River BBQ! They more than successfully catered our 158 person wedding. The barbecue served at our wedding was nothing short of extraordinary. The flavors were rich, the meat perfectly cooked, and the variety of sauces provided an exquisite taste experience. Our guests couldn't stop raving about the delicious spread, making our special day even more memorable. A heartfelt recommendation for those who appreciate top-notch barbecue catering!

We went for beef ribs and were not disappointed. 2 of us shared the 4 rib dinner and had 1 rib to take home. Flavor and texture were awesome. Perfectly smokey and the rub was subtle... Enhancing the flavor of the meat and not overpowering it. I like my sauce on the side so I can control how much to use.... Tried the mild and the hot sauce.. Preferred the hot as it was less sweet and more tangy and spicy. Looking forward to trying some of their other meats!

Good bbq, great flavor and traditional fall off the bone ribs like we were looking for. Hefty side portions. Tons of free parking and friendly service.
