Cedar Park Inn and Whirlpool Suites - Hotel in North Stonington - 85 Norwich-Westerly Rd, USA

I have rented this room for my son on many occasions for a special engagement. I have seen the room and it was well worth the money. The location to Foxwoods is excellent. The room was clean and efficient. The best part was that he was able to take his dog with him. He has no children and his dog is like a child to him. The hotel and surrounding environment was beautiful. The staff and every person were pleasant and caring. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who would need one.

Wanted a relaxing night away with my husband, booked the Luxury Room - King Jacuzzi. Not convinced the rooms were renovated in 2018, everything was very outdated, dirty and broken. Ceiling had lots of water damage stains, the door to the fridge was broken and there was no alarm clock. The mattress wasn't a Tempur-Pedic like advertised on the website and the box spring was so loud and dipped in the middle significantly. The windows need curtains as the blinds don't block out the light as night. We booked the deluxe suite to enjoy the two person whirlpool tub, which was quite stained and when filled there was only one setting for the jets which were so intense the water kept shooting out of the tub and flooding the bathroom. Nothing has been cleaned well, under the lip of the sink was black with mold as well as the top of the shower. Paid extra for a late check out but honestly we were so ready to leave.

If you’re looking to save some serious $ and have easy access to Rhode Island ( particularly Westerly), this could be your place . VERY basic but my room was clean, Properly was quiet. They could improve the room with small, inexpensive improvements… a lamp by the bed, a room darkening curtain so the outdoor light doesn’t shine into the room ALL NIGHT, a toilet that doesn’t keep running. Bed was pretty comfy. The room had a little coffee maker yet no coffee, etc. Not terrible but definitely nothing impressive ( but the price ).

I will say This Is A Budget friendly hotel, if this is your last resort and being frugal. The front desk staff was friendly and very kind. However the room gave me the vibe of the movie "Strangers". The door latch (see pic below) looked as if there was a break in etc. The room was NOT clean by any means. The hot tub and the bathroom tub and toilet was Filthy and grimey, The bed felt as if you was sleeping on the floor with a rubber mat. And the neighboring tenants soumded like they are in the room with you.. I will say you do get what you paid for.. However there is a Limo shuttle to and from the casino. And a Nice size fire pit

My wife and i decided a last minute trip on our wedding anniversary to Olde Mystic CT and stayed a couple of nights at Cedar Park Inn for the first time. Upon arrival we noticed the fire pit nicely lit. The front desk clerk greeted us and quickly began to process our check in. Process was simple. Our room was clean and quiet. We were even offered complimentary ride to and from Foxwoods casino-limo style! although we declined we were certainly impressed. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will return in the near future.

Honestly if I can give 0 stars I would. Only thing nice was the fire pit, the ladies and overnight guy on shift that day and the limo service to foxwoods other than that Do not waiste your time and money here. I lost sleep staying here literally cried the whole night because when we got back from fox woods it was late to check out or anything we had 4 hours left. We wanted a romantic stay because we haven’t had any luck between losing my twin pregnancy and my mother in law we wanted a night where we were phone free to enjoy each other. Instead we walk in to dirty room which I didn't complain about. Jacuzzi looked beat up. It was dirty had hair in it and what looked like polish stains. The towels had tiny wholes. We pulled the mattress sheet back to find what 100% looked like bed bugs. I pull the mattress sheet to find a dead bed bug and what looked like bed bug feces all over it including dirt. Now I am not an expert. At check out I complained he said do you have pictures I said yes but my phone is now dead and i forgot my charger. He said that he would have someone look at it that he's had multiple complaints about bed bugs and they end up not and that he would get back to me on a refund. It is now Tuesday the 23rd, my stay was the 19th checking out the 20th, I give a call For an update and he says the 4 bugs you got with blood on a towel were ants. So I guess they think it’s acceptable to have ants crawling all over the beds. Mind y’all these things were not ants. Not double circled body. I did my research. Ants don't run under the sheet with light. I kept cleaning the bed the whole night until check out. Black tiny things just kept reappearing. So here y'all go look at my non bed bug pictures they so call ants. y'all can do your research. No refund was giving and i had to lay on there so called ants. Do y’all think these are ants? 7/24/2024 Since I cant respond to the reply heres my edit. Your front desk manager at check out informed me and my husband that the hotel hasn't had any bed bugs as of 7 years. That 7 years ago there was an infestation. Im not the only one reporting it. Time to see a better specialist. I am not going to go back and forth just don't ever say never when we was told something different Saturday the 20th. 1st ants now Beatles. And then lie that there hasn't been an infestation.

Dirty hair on the beds dirt all over the floor. Flies in the room looks like they haven't cleaned or swept the floors in months. Bunch of trash under the bed. Had to call about the tv about 3 times someone came to fix it then it went out again. Got moved to anther room dirty as well tv didn't work someone came to fix it. Shut it off for the night woke up bc the noise was loud turned tv back on didn't work so I shut it off had to use my phone to watch movies. I will be complaining in the morning again. Towels are so small you can't hardly dry yourself off. I will never come here again the pics on thete website need to be updated bc its nothing like they say it is. Won't stay here again

Awful experience! Booked a deluxe 2 queen suite. Was given a 2 full bed in basement. Room was absolutely disgusting! Dirt and dust in the corners of the room. Hair all over the sheets on both beds. When I lifted the sheet back there was a bed bug. I reported it to the office who sent the limo driver to inspect. The bug was gone but he noticed black specks all over the matress cover. He stated it was just dirt, not bed bug feces. I asked for a refund so we could leave. The assistant manager processed the refund but had no interest in speaking with me. No apology. I was just told I was wrong and they have never had bed bugs. Apparently the filth of the room and the dirty sheets are their standard since it was not acknowledged.
