Stayed 2 nights in the Sunkissed, which is the smallest they offer. The room was very clean and they obviously tried to make it comfortable. The "closet" is an antique wardrobe and too small for modern hangers, the bathroom is small with no shelves or hooks. Very difficult to apply makeup with no place to set bottles etc and poor lighting. Hot water in the shower for about 90 seconds then cools off fast. So many pillows, about 10, all over the place and nowhere to put them when not using. The larger rooms would probably be fine.
The people working are incredibly friendly and helpful. However the rooms decor and layout leave A LOT to be desired and the town is a dead end. Garbage food and drinks nearby with absolutely ZERO alternatives. And for some reason they installed these front doors to the BEDROOM that have an insanely large window that lets in so much light it’s impossible to sleep past sunrise. I don’t know who these people think they are servicing but when I’m on vacation I like to sleep in 🤦♂️
Our stay at Harbour Master was wonderful. The room we got was called Corrigan's Reef and had a small balcony overlooking the Gulf and historic Atsena Otie Key. The room was spacious and immaculately clean. The bed was extremely comfortable and the room was well maintained with all in working order. What impressed us most was there was no noticeable odor at all inside the room. The characteristic mustiness of many waterfront accommodations was not present here. Everything was so fresh and clean. My only critique was that checkout was extremely slow due to complicated reservations another customer was attempting to make. Maybe if Harbour Master got a second computer at the desk, another employee could have handled my check-out. Despite that, we would like to return and get the same room next year.
Cedar Key is a quaint town. We stayed in The Loft , huge room with King Bed, sitting area with tv that can also be viewed from the bed, overlooking the street. Coffee and tea ready to brew. Private setting area overlooking the bay. In the heart of downtown, close to restaurants and shops.
Where to start…had a Wonderful two night stay! Our large spacious room was immaculate & perfectly decorated, had everything we needed right there. |Great location next to a few very good restaurants and lots of little shops in a quaint ol’ Florida town. Our room had a magnificent ocean view & looking straight down into the ocean from our private deck was amazing. We experienced an extreme thunder/lightning storm one night which was breathtaking to watch safely inside our cozy room. Parking can be a bit tricky but we were able to find a spot close by and they have a golf cart to help if needed. Staff were all super friendly & efficient. Looking forward to our next stay! |
This was our second visit to Harbor Master Suites. I would not want to stay any where else. We stayed in the Pearl on this visit. WHAT A VIEW! These rooms are wonderful, comfortable, and are just divine. We’ve already booked our next visit in February. The service is great. This has become our weekend getaway. It’s special!
Perfect!
Service was extra mile and warm-- you can't beat Southern charm and hospitality.
We got in after hours and they left us very clear instructions and three emergency phone numbers.
Our room was spacious, clean, cozy and the view of the water was fabulous!
We dined right next door then sat out on our private balcony where the stars were breathtaking!
The king-sized bed was very comfortable! The sheets were pretty and so soft. My husband was tempted to steal a pillow! 😆
The location could not be better.
Highly recommend.
Some of the nicest people I have ever met, the room was like being in our house.. They take a lot of pride here, and they should...

Amazing breakfast. The feta spinach... add sausage... croissant is to die for. The lil lady at the front is superb and the cook brought out our beautiful Egg Sammy.
Their coffee creations will leave you wanting nothing else.
Great little park in Cedar Key. The park has restrooms, a pavilion, beach with swimming area, and a playground for the kids. Very relaxing escape. Worth checking out if visiting Cedar Key and you want to dip your feet in the gulfâ¦be sure to brin
What a great place to visit in this quaint "drinking town with a fishing problem". Upscale food and service where you can still wear your flip flops and shorts. The menu is focused on what they do best. If you drop in (reservations recommended) you
