Clean restaurant… however, my food was way too salty. Sadly, they didn’t give me bread that’s fresh or they make themselves! It was under $25. I ordered 2 chicken pitas and 1 cup of soup; Lentil, which looked very light in color, not green! It was tasty, not salty..at least not alls lost! I won’t buy the shawarma again! Plus the pickles were blah..blah! Not worth $25 bucks!

Updated Review 2024: It's a sad day, but I must announce it's an end of an era. Cedar Gardens is a restaurant in decline and can not be long for this world. What was once thee best, pound for pound Mediterranean Restaurant on the east side is no longer what it once was. The facility is DISGUSTING, THE KITCHEN IS REPREHENSIBLE, and the service is no longer interested in providing excellent customer service. I have not been into the facility since precovid. But have ordered from there at least 20 times. The food quality has slipped gradually since covid. Additionally the refuse to provide you what you order, they refuse to get your order correct. Not once in the past 20 takeout orders have they gotten correct.

The food was very good. The wait staff was efficient and friendly. The establishment is currently being renovated, so the space is quite limited, Mostly, it is carry- out orders, which they are quite proficient in providing great service.

I love this place. I grew up on this food here. I have been living in Ohio for a while now and crave this food all of the time. We were in town and sad to see that it was carry out only since we didn't really have a place to go with it. But they recognized me from back in the day and allowed us to sit there to eat with our take out. It was the Sweetest thing!! And the food might even be better than what I remembered! I got my daughters to try it and have had them change their minds about it. They loved it! I am so glad a gem like this has been able to keep going after all of these years and challenges.

The food is great! Can't wait until the renovations are done so we can dine in again.

This place is very filthy waiting for my food just looking around the pop station has dried food for I don't know how long all overit, the ceilings are filthy black the, grease area by the vents are filthy raw meat just thrown on the counter by the dish washer,the grill area looks like it's cleaned once a year horrible experience... They cannot fix this in a day or a week or a month so for anyone that says this post is not real please feel free to go in yourself and see I am not trying to put down this small business but this restaurant is filthy...

Food was good quality and portion size was ok. Nothing special sticks out about this place. The dining room is being remodeled so carry out only.

So I go here at least once a week. I love the food and the owner! They will have my order ready before I even order. They get to know you. They have heart.
