Cedar At Streamside - Featured Reviews (46)
I am absolutely outraged by the lack of accountability and disregard for guest safety and security shown by the Cedar at Streamside. During my stay, my personal belongings were stolen, and it appears that the security personnel were complicit in the theft. Despite reporting the incident to the reception, no action was taken, and my concerns were dismissed. As a guest, I had a reasonable expectation of safety and security, and the Cedar at Streamside failed to meet this expectation. To make matters worse, the hotel has security cameras, but I was informed that they were not functioning at the time of the theft. This lack of functioning security cameras only exacerbates the situation and makes it clear that the hotel is not taking guest safety and security seriously. They have a legal duty to provide a safe environment for their guests, and they have failed in this duty. I cannot recommend staying at the Cedar at Streamside until they improve their security measures and hold their security personnel accountable for their actions.
Great place the ski shuttle was always right on time. Pool hot tub steam rooms just like you'd expect. Clean 1 BR unit with everything we needed. The pull out bed was absolutely the most comfortable one I've ever slept in! Only drawback was there are a lot of stairs especially after a day on the slopes. We knew that ahead of time so no surprise just be aware. This was an RCI exchange. Grocery stores close.
We saw several deer while staying here and the noise of the freeway is nearly imperceptible. Although a beautiful setting, the place has started to go into disrepair. The emergency lights in one stairwell did not work. A board was coming loose from a balcony above us and birds had started nesting in the hole. The strike plate for our front door was coming loose because the bottom screw was too small. The cement steps in the stairwell were starting to loose the smooth cement and showing the the course rock/ cement below (rough on bare feel).
Very nice upper floor condo. Unfortunately, there are 96 steps up from the parking to the unit. 36 of the stairs can be avoided by using the elevator in another building and crossing a walkway but 60 steps are a lot to carry luggage and groceries for a week. The fire wood is also at the bottom of the stairs. Ugh! No Sherpas provided!
Staff was incredibly accommodating and the room was perfect... fully-equipped kitchen, giant dining table, wood fireplace with starter brick, and sleeping for 7. The area is beautiful and the amenities (pool, hot tubs, game rooms) were relaxing and fun after a full day in Vail.
The room was beautiful but upon our arrival we went to turn what we thought was the A/C on for the room since it was hot and in the middle of summer. I called to let them know it wasn't working and they advised us that they don't have A/C in the rooms at which time they advised me that there our fans in the room so just open the windows. I spent $500.00 for two nights to stay here for my families first trip to Colorado and wasn't happy about no A/C. We will not recommend this place to anyone or will we ever stay here again.
The service was amazing. There were hot fresh cookies in the lobby in the evenings. The pool was heated. The room had a small kitchen balcony, dinner table and couch
Perfect place for our family of four. Loved the separated loft bedroom from the bedroom with two beds downstairs. Huge shout out to Mackie who went to find my ring that I left behind!
Luxurious housing in Vail, Colorado. The unit is quite large with high quality furniture and appliances. Car parking is valet and complimentary to guests. There is also complimentary shuttles between hotel and near by Vail or Lionshead Village - In a
Staying in vail was not in our initial plan on our road trip to Colorado but we had one day extra and we decided to stay in vail. Iâm so glad we were there. This place was one of the best highlights of our 2 week trip. This property is gorgeous, th
We stayed in a townhouse. It was perfect. Small kitchen, plenty of bathrooms and comfy beds. It was less than 10 mins from the village/lift. It was very relaxing. We even called the front desk for a couple things and they were super quick to respond.
Beautiful dog park. I stopped on my travels from the West Coast to the Midwest. Not far off the freeway and very friendly locals. Beautiful spot in the valley.
I was in Vail for a work trip with several colleagues and on a day when a few of us went skiing, we all decided to meet here for lunch during the day. The location and atmosphere is amazing, with great views of the mountains. The food was really good
Vail is huge, has awesome slopes, and stunning scenery. Coming from the east coast, it was absolutely jaw dropping when we first made it to the top. Definitely agree with everyone else that it's one of the most scenic resorts in Colorado.
Decided to try something simple and delicious, Blü Cow was just the right place. Their Swiss hot dogs are yummy, along with rejuvenating Uber Soup. Friendly service.
Great Italian restaurant in Vail. Highly recommend reservations, although one can arrive early and get to snag a seat at the bar (which often has people eating there). They have a nice wine selection, which because itâs Colorado, you can take your
From a wedding photographer's perspective, you really can't beat the Larkspur wedding experience! Stunning mountain views all around, an incredibly beautiful and intimate reception space, and can host one heck of a party! We recently photographed a w
First of all, I would like to thank the personnel! Amazing customer service. The rooms are spacious and clean! Unfortunately our room lost power and heating in the evening of second night, they fixed it fast, and for the heating brought us the portab
