Great day , wonderful event. Hosted by the Cattleman's bar n grill, the' Hot Cocoa ' heated up every costume, was the perfect touch at the end. Family memories. Always makes a great place to be . Try there catering its great 👍 nice, and friendly people. Down home cooking food too. Thank you again

Busted cattlemen’s grill while I was in Fruita, I had dinner here 3 times in 3 different days. Food was pretty good, except the last dinner I had there. Jalapeño poppers were pretty burnt and when I mentioned it all she said/did was say sorry, the soup of the day for dinner I had the jalapeño poppers, was pretty bad. The steak had pretty bad flavor and over cooked, unfortunately didn’t get pictures of that night. Other than that it’s pretty good and employees were friendly.

Update: I heard there's a new chef from Vegas. Good flavors but my NY Strip needed to be trimmed better. The menu is smaller but still delicious! Food is the best I've had since moving over a year ago! The salad bar, the soup and the beef were all top notch. Then they'll Creme Brule your cheesecake. Where has this been ally life? Oh and the poppers.... just GO - tney don't disappoint!

My husband picked it and after done eating I told him to always check the worst reviews first to get a good idea of issues and all that were listed in reviews were true with the exception of our waitress. She saw us in a timely manner and was very nice. The food. Potato soup was cold. Rolls had a flavor similar to when oil is old so I don't know if maybe they brushed it on them to make it shiny or if it came from baking but that taste was there. I ordered meatloaf and it came in three hard little balls with what tasted like instant mashed potatoes with brown gravy mix. I ordered a side of cottage cheese and tomatoes and that was the best tasting thing. My husband ordered steak and mashed potatoes. He loved the steak but had the same observation about mashed potatoes. I almost ordered dessert bc they have pineapple upside down cake just if it ended up bad I would have just been ticked that I gave them more money. So I didn't. There are a few flies but there is a cattle yard on the back so can't really complain about that. Was it the worst? No. Would I ever tell anyone to make sure they stop there? No.

Christmas Eve dinner was excellent! No wait and fast, friendly service. Steaks were delicious and the whole team was amazing!

Our server, Anja was awesome. This was our first time visiting this site. Food was great! Service was great too.

We love this place. Starting with the staff, very friendly and attentive to keeping coffee filled. The food is amazing so good we got gift cards for our friends. I’ve been here for breakfast and lunch. Looking to go for dinner. They do a prime rib night. Restaurant is family friendly, salad bar, soup bar. This is a top five place for us.

Maybe we caught an off night but this wasn’t a great visit. We thought the fried pickles were good but had they been cooked another minute or two they would’ve had a nice crisp crunch to them. We both enjoyed the salad bar. The filet was ordered medium and was quite a ways away from being there, the rib eye was ordered medium rare and while close it wasn’t quite there either. My ribeye was tasty but actually served at room temperature, I wouldn’t even call it warm per se. Normally I would have mentioned these issues to the server but while extremely friendly she only stopped by to ask us about our meal when it was delivered, we never saw her again until we stopped her to order the dessert, which was great by the way. We will try here again in hopes of a better experience.
