Great place to eat! Friendly service, great tasting food, and clean facilities. You get a great meal for, large portions, for your money.
Great service. Super friendly. First time back in the area since Covid. Usually hit this spot when I’m staying at the Best Western down the street.
It was our first time eating here, and we really liked it. I had the Camarones a la Diabla, which was very good. Hot, but not overwhelming. The wife had chile rellano and chile verde combo, which she said was very good. The rice and beans were also tasty. They put a salad of some sort on the plate, and it was way too vinegary. We're not in Wasco often, but we'd come back for sure.
Catrina's use to be very good, expensive, but good. We would be greated with a smile and welcomed. Went with my family today and was very disappointed. The greating was eventually by a woman with a frown and a short "how many?". Prices went up, portions decreased, drinks watered down, and food not cooked as ordered. Had to ask for condements multiple times before receving them. Husband ordered a steak medium rare and it came cooked well done, politly sent it back and the steak came raw.. not rare but raw. I will no longer be recommending this resturant.
Excellent food, good people, good vibe love the family atmosphere and not the karaoke on Saturday nights is another added attraction
Hands Down 1 of the Best Chilie Verde Burrito; it's as if L&R's Pizza in Delano and Catrinas has the same recipes except one is in a tortilla and one is on pizza dough.
Found this place on Google while passing through the area on Hwy 99 late Oct or early Nov 2021. Had great reviews so we decided to try their food. Excellent Mexican food. Good portions. We ordered to go & food was prepared hot & fresh & service was pretty fast. Place is nicely decorated & furnished. Restroom was clean & well-maintained. Busy during dinner time on a Saturday night. Would definitely visit again whenever we're passing through the area.
