The atmosphere is 100% dedicated to the love and lives of cats. Proceeds from paid visits help them keep cats cage free and acclimate to shared spaces with other cats and humans while they wait to be adopted. There is a complimentary "cafe" with an assortment of teas and other hot drinks. We enjoyed playing with cats, reading cat books, and playing cat-themed games.
I stumbled across the Catnip Cat Cafe and it was the perfect place to kill some time and enjoy hanging out with cats and fellow cat lovers. I enjoyed the drinks they had and that they welcome outside food & drink. Had I known, I would have come there after my coffee stop instead of before! This would be a great place for a date for cat lovers.
Always fun to see many cats! I want more cats if my husband would agree to have more than our 2 but still like to go see many of them at a time at some cat cafes when we visit an area that has one. It’s cheaper ($12) per person than the other 2 cat cafes I’ve been to in Virginia recently ($18 Harrisonburg, $20 DC). As a cat parent who’s done a lot of nutrition reading to fix my cats’ former issues and cut out a lot of stuff they used to get (cut fish and dry food), I think it would be good if they charged a bit more like $15+ and used that extra to give the cats each one wet food can a day (in addition to the existing dry food) to help the cats/prevent other health issues. I know that’s hard when it’s this many cats but the cost to visit is lower than other cat cafes right now, so admission cost increase could cover that. The cats overall seem happy seeing people. I don’t know how you get this many cats to get along together- we had enough trouble getting our 2 cats to accept each other over a period of weeks of slow introduction when we got the second one. That’s what amazes me when you get this many cats together.
What a great place! Very clean new location. Super neat experience, well put together cat cafe. Employees were very helpful, informative, and kind. Made appointments ahead of time for our family, we were able to get in the next day. We have been to a few other cat cafes across the US, and really liked our experience here. This one was a little different, as the drinks were self-serve, but we were really there for the animals, and never got around to the drinks. I believe they mentioned they had tea, coffee, hot chocolate as some of their options. There were so many sweet cats in the center, and loved their kitten room! It was very hard to go and not take one home. When we were there, we did see a few cats get adopted which was awesome! Love that this opportunity opens up doors for these beautiful cats.
Would highly recommend checking this place out! Especially if you're in the neighborhood for a family friend.
My partner and I initially visited to find a companion for our young cat, and after three visits, we were smitten with one of their kittens. Each time we came here, we were greeted with very friendly staff and plenty of curious front desk cats. You have the option here for 1 hour or 30-minute stays, and there is complimentary tea and water inside.
Kittenpalooza is a separate reservation you can make to go into the room in the back with all of the young kittens (in my opinion, worth it!). The cats here are all from local rescue groups, and they all seemed very well taken care of and relaxed. There is plenty of space and toys for all of the cats, and you can definitely tell that their well-being is prioritized.
If you are looking to adopt, note that they don't do same-day adoptions. However, the application process was pretty straightforward and quick. The staff here are also a great resource in terms of vetting a cat's personality and determining how a cat would fit in with your household. In all, I would highly recommend this cat cafe, whether you are looking to adopt or relax!
I visited the new location on Colley Ave and it is a wonderful place. It is very cozy, brightly lit and charming.
The cats are well cared for and seem happy. It was so nice to see adoptable cats in open space.
The young lady who greeted me was pleasant and knew about the different cat personalities.
There were adoptable kittens in another open room and I spent some time playing with them too.
There are lots of toys and playtime is encouraged.
The number of guests is limited to prevent crowding for the cats and people.
I had a good time at Catnip Cafe.
Lovely spot with two rooms (one for adults, the other a special events area for kittens). There were 22 cats when we visited but everything was clean and you wouldn't know it.
The cats were so friendly and playful and happily all adoptable. Lots of opportunity to get a friendly cat near you for pets and love.
Loved everything about here. The staff was awesome, patrons were all nice as well. The cats were so sweet, my boyfriend and I had a great experience. Down side was we've been to other cat cafes before and most of the time it's a actually Cafe with a cat room. Where this is a big cat room with a couple choices of kurig stuff snd tea bags. (Just in case anyone is expecting the same kinds vibe as a Cafe).
Underwhelming when it came to food and coffee. The cat experience tho 100% loved.
Great coffee..my friend loves this place, because of what they do for the community. I think all of us got Caramel Macchiato's. One was the daily brew. Tasted so good. Better than the chain brands. What a great experience
Needed a gym while I was on Vacation and was quickly welcomed into this friendly environment that I became very comfortable with immediately. Not only do the coaches know their stuff but they push you to achieve more advanced movements. They also hav
I've been going to Ghent fit for 2 years now and I have really liked the staff and individual work out rooms. I have had a few trainers while being here and my current trainer, Alfonso, has been the best I've had so far.
He is a terrific trainer and
Really pretty cafe. The owner was so warm and welcoming. The food was really good and as a bonus looked amazing, especially the forest kabob and carrot cake. Only downside was it was a bit expensive and the portions werenât crazy
Small movements, big flex. Short time, maximum gain. During my 1st visit I was surprised how quickly we were able to get the body in the correct position for the best gain. Instructors were highly attentive and knowledgeable. Not your warehouse wo
We came to the Open Studio and all had so much fun! Most painted from one of the MANY samples. I did a paint pouring. No instruction, but help when we needed it. Great facility and wonderful owner. We will definitely be returning!!
This is my new favorite place! The staff were so friendly and helpful (one of the staff members explained all her favorites and offered great suggestions when we had trouble deciding) and the pastries and bread were delicious! I got a pain au chocola
This Museum in the heart of downtown Norfolk is well worth the visit and does not take too much of your time. The staff on hand are very knowledgeable in history of the house and the family who lived there.

These grounds are beautiful. Itâs a little on the smaller side as far as property size so you can get through it within a couple of hours max, but itâs stunning. They have some installations and the light/sound experience is really moving.
They have good coffee, good tea, and good waffle based foods (I had one with goat cheese, herbs, pistachios, and honey that was really good). The coolest thing, however, is the overall vibe. They are in an old house, have a little used bookstore inco
